It is easy to get lost looking at all the gigs on fiverr. Please tell us what gigs you have found to be of great benefit to you that was well worth the five bucks and would have paid substancially more for their service.

Fiverr has been god send (from a buyers perspective) for graphic design and videos, before Fiverr I was paying hundreds of $'s sometimes thousands each month just to get logos designed and videos created.

Everything is good there except youtube views and SEO...

Just one tip... go to the booth fiverr and freelancer and compare prices...

I lost 500$ on articles from fiverr. 500 words (not so well written) on fiverr is $5, and I found a great guy (from Africa) that writes me 350 words for 2$ (great research, great work).

I use fiverr for logos, graphics (editing and making), and videos (explainers, whiteboard) etc...

The rest is from freelancer.

I use Fiverr almost all of the time. I actually had some pretty good experience with the following:
YouTube views
YouTube likes
Simple header / banner designs
WordPress css fixes
Article translation
Quora answers (my personal favorite)

The thing with Fiverr is that because there is no neutral feedback but only "Great" or "Lousy" you usually get really high quality stuff since the sellers don't want to piss you off. Of course you also need to know how to pick the right sellers (feedbacks, % of delivery, time to deliver).

I got my company's logo designed on Fiverr and it came out great! They even did a revision for me and provided it to me in an editable photoshop format for a little extra so I can change it in the future a bit if I want!

I've gone to Fiverr on occasion for social bookmarking jobs as I've found a couple of really good outsourcers who have done a tremendous job both in terms of speed and scope.

Graphics have been great and I've had some luck with videos as well. Always been scarred of anything seo related over there, but maybe I'm just being paranoid

  The new format totally sucks for doing searches. It make it much harder to search for services that are offered.

I use it for getting some social signals here and there as well as having some great banners built.

There are a lot of talented graphic designers on there who will waaay over deliver on the $5 investment.

As a writer on fiverr I can assure you there are some people who are talented and serious about their quality and craft. That being said, I know there's some duds on there too so it helps to ask around to find the right person for the job. All the best.

The only thing I bought on Fiverr was a logo design job, which actually turned out to not be as good as I thought it could be.

It's just amazing at how MUCH work people are willing to do for a measly five bucks.

  In most cases I guess you get what you pay for, and it's quiet obvious that $5 won't give you a high-quality product. When that is said, I have used Fiverr a lot and there are plenty of really good deals there. These days I mainly use it for video production, but I usually pay a little more than $5/video, more like $20-$30, but still incredible good value.

I find I use Fiverr more for content than anything else now... sometimes graphics, videos and ranking videos but if you know how to be sneaky you can use fiverr for affiliate marketing without you having to create the content for emails and videos etc...

I used it to get some followers on Facebook and well they delivered the number, not targeted at all, most of them from south america and like western Europe....and within days the number was down to like a third of what I had gotten :p but thats the only job I've gotten from them...

The voiceovers are good if you need a short video, i had some really good voiceovers on there for just the $5 gig.

Also for graphics if i need a banner or something simple its also a good place. Although if you need an infographic forget about it usually the quality sucks.

Lastly coding work or css or anything that has to do with the backend of wordpress ive found helpful.

I've used fiverr for a blog design and was pretty-well pleased, though I tweaked it a bit myself. I've also used it for content a few times and that was hit-or-miss. But at the time it worked for what I needed.

I just posted a gig myself to write articles since I'm just getting back to writing for pay after taking some time off for health reasons. We'll see how it goes. $5 for a 300-500 word article is about 1/3 of my normal rate, but hoping to get back in the groove anyway. We'll see.

I use Fiverr mostly for video creation, video distribution, bookmarking gigs that are done Manually

The key to choosing gigs on Fiver is this :

Look for gigs that have repeat buyers

Even if a gig has been bought 3,000 times over 2 years, it does not really mean much... you have to look at how many of those buyers came back again to buy the gig again.

I got some artwork done for my sites and the guy was fantastic.

Turnaround time was a bit slow, but it's fine if you have several things on the go.

So for graphics, voiceovers, etc. etc. Fiverr is great.

I've gotten voiceover from fiverr.

It was decent enough. Not nearly as good as voiceovers from voices.com, but I also didn't have to spend over $100.

  Fiverr are great for anything related to design, especially promotional material. Considering the fact that people like us in IM live and die by the content we produce, a good gig delivery can sometimes save a bundle.
  
  That being said, never buy anything on Fiverr from people who promise to share your posts or content with their "millions of followers on Twitter and Facebook" or their networks. They're almost all social media mills with bot users and the like, so tread carefully.

I personally use fiveer a lot for video editing for my Business online. For a 2mins Video it does cost me 10 Bucks but saves me a lot time as I am not a fast video editor.

Hey warriors!
With all this talks about fiverr and voice overs I felt like posting here. I just started to offer my german/english voice over services on fiverr. In case you are thinking of expanding your businesses to Germany for example or you know fellas who have their markets in Germany, I would love to offer my services, to get a nice head start. I do also english VO's without any particular accent. I don't have the typical german accent (have different origins)..

I tend to buy graphics design gigs when I need something like an eBook cover, or when I want to create an attention getting sales page.

I don't have much experience with creating graphics myself, so I always find it best to outsource. In my opinion, it's just much better to spend a few dollars than to appear unprofessional.

Fiverr is great for 3d ebook covers, 3d software box covers, 3d DVD box covers, etc.

I've also bought cartoon logos from Fiverr. There's a lot of great value stuff there if you look for it.

I've used them for Voice overs. I created a video sale page for a beauty product and had a female voice over professional in the target age range record my sales pitch. I synced the audio with a video presentation and drove traffic to page to collect optins.

There are many, many services you can get on Fiverr, it all depends on what you really need. There are good sellers and there are bad sellers who don't take freelancing seriously. The important thing is to be able to filter them and find the right people that can help you with their services.
