Hi,

I have a game blog called Hot Arcade where I review online games and arcade sites.
Please review it, and tell me how can I earn money from it.

Thank you!

Hi, To earn money you have to take eye on visitors. This is the most important thing, if you have lots of visitors per day then you apply for ad and once you get ad from reputed agency like Adsense. Once your blog approved, you get more money.

You can do a cpa offer for a related product. Or you can throw some Amazon ads.

By moving it away from Blogger to a site you yourself own and control (even if it's on reliable, well-established, secure, high-quality free hosting such as at Byethost).

If you're wanting to monetize, that's far safer than leaving it where it is, for all the reasons explained in this post.

I would ALSO encourage you to get out of Blogger ASAP. I've had some terrible experiences in the past, as well as many others here.

Anyway, try some CPA offers, as I see many game-related stuff. Also try to build a list of gamers if you can. Imagine you recommending the latest games to them every month through Amazon Associates (affiliate program.) Lastly, look for other gaming blogs and ask them to make a contribution while linking back to your own money blog. Look at all of this as a long-term business, be patient and you'll find success.

    1. Get your own domain with hosting.

    2. Slap AdSense on there to begin with.

    3. Consider running an ad (Google, Facebook, etc)

    4. Create a Facebook, Twitter, etc and link them up. (Update and promote daily)

    5. Do some search term research and write quality posts (400+ words)

    6. Hold a contest? Give away a free game? Free expansion pack? Something.

    7. Build a list while doing this (Give away a free eBook or strategy guide)

    8. Guest post.

    9. Make a YouTube account, do gameplay videos, and link to your site.

    10. Be consistent.

First off get off that "blogspot" site. Get Wordpress instead. Make sure you drive heavy traffic to it... a site like your's, i think Adsense (if not a form of Adsense) would do the trick.

@gamestoenjoy - If you're reviewing games then what people are buying is what you're reviewing (i.e. games). After that it's all the usual stuff in that niche (guides, accessories, hardware etc). Look at how other people in your niche that are reviewing games (there are tons of them on Youtube - I know I follow some of them) are monetizing their sites... and reverse engineer what they are doing, because you can be sure that anyone relentlessly making videos and content on an associated website/blog is monetizing what they are doing. Some of these guys are operating at 'pro production' level with their output (I've even seen game reviewers writing scripts and using auto-cues).

Your gaming blog looks good. You now need to add text links and/or banner links to your blog that link to related affiliate offers, in this case gaming offers. You can have these links in a blogroll and also include these links in each new post that you publish. Good luck to you.

You can also monetize your ad with infolinks, If you are already using Google Adsense then you can use both infolinks and adsense together.

First of all, you need many more reviews - the more the better because it means that you have some more open doors. Then I'd think about a new design. You don't have a menu on the top so visitors will feel really lost when they arrive. Also, your site doesn't say what it is all about. So you should really do some branding.
Money: Adsense, Links to Amazon to buy the games
But really, this is about the mass - the more you have the better

Adsense is hard if you do't have much traffic.... I did adsense for 6 years put in so much effort and work and only got $50.... I cant even get it out from Google because the minimum withdrawal amount is $150 for my country.

I'd recommend affiliation programs that relate to your websites topic

As everyone else says, get your own domain. Then you can try starting a forum.

    Here's some inspiration: http://www.findaforum.net/Games-and-...ter-Games.aspx

Maybe you also need to choose a good niche within gaming, as the gaming topic is pretty general.

Also use spaces between paragraphs to improve readability, and proof read your posts.

You could allow other people to advertise their sites on yours and get some money in exchange for that.If you think that your site is successful enough that others would want to advertise their stuff on it...you could do it

Not enough things to hold attention. I easily can close that tab.
Take a look at your competition- Video Game Cheats, Codes, Cheat Codes, Walkthroughs, Guides, FAQs, Reviews, Previews, News, Videos for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, and more from Cheat Code Central. -
There is not enough webpage to hold all that stuff to click on.

Don't settle giving customers what they want. Give them too much of what they want.
I would add videos to show them how the game plays. I would have an easy to understand rating system. I would have a place where other people- previous customers can rank them, and so on.....

I wouldn't try to make money off that website until it gets tuned up. People need to trust the complete situation before they will buy. Every detail needs to not bring up scam in the heads of potential customers.

Monetize with: Adsense and/or affiliate games.

    Suggestions:
    1. Distracting background - change it.
    2. GET OFF BLOGSPOT! Get your own domain and self-host it. Now.
    3. Resize images so they fit well with text.
    4. Optimize it..duh.
    5. Consider using proper English grammar, sentence structure, and make the text clearer (add double-space between paragraphs).
    6. Add link to your facebook page.
    7. Make it better.

    All the best,

    1. Have things on your blog that you make high commission on.
    2. Get large amount of traffic, Learn SEO and Backlinking.
    3. Get a list to the Blog and learn how to "Sell" to that list.

    Good luck

This just my personal opinion . . .

I have always considered monetization with tiny advertising commissions just like riding the slow boat to China.

Unless you have mega traffic and very targeted ads, the effort is hardly worth it . . . not to mention the fact that your traffic clicks away from your site in order for you to make a few cents.

Wouldn't it be better to have your own product that you sell related to your niche? What about licensing or even creating some game apps that you could sell onsite? There are places you can get apps made if you don't want to learn how to do it.

That's just one example of a product you could sell in the niche. I'm sure there are a lot of others.

What about starting a membership (subscription based) site for gamers?

The world is your oyster if you get a little creative!
