Firefox and Flash Player Crashing Constantly

Hey anyone else experiencing this constant crash of flash player with Firefox? I've been to several forums and others having the same issue with no joy from the Mozilla team. The latest version of either seems not to have made a difference.

I have my theories as to why it's happening, but a solution other than moving over to Chrome would be good. Anyone had this issue and fixed it?

There's probably a conflict with another one of your add-ons. Disable everything except the flash plug-in, then restart Firefox If flash plays properly, then that proves the point. Re-enable everything, one extension and plugin at a time (restarting Firefox after every install), until it starts playing up again, then you'll know what's causing the problem. Time consuming, but the only way to know for sure.

If you're still having problems with just the flash plugin enabled, then your problem is with that plugin alone. Uninstall, restart Firefox, install the latest version, restart Firefox again. That should do the trick.

I've had this issue couple of weeks ago where Firefox and other plugins are having conflicts. What I did was I simply reinstalled Firefox and disabled unwanted plugins that Firefox aren't using the moment it loads.

The only time I've this problem is when I play big flash games and there is a big delay, because of my older PC.

Firefox still crashes on rare occasions, but it always has!

It was a nightmare about a year ago, but it was more or less fixed!

I heard from some poor FF users who, got rid of all settings, and reinstalled instead of being patient, then found it didn't make any difference!

Best to stay with FF, and have IE as a backup, if your video starts to flash, etc, then it usually works!
