Why do YOU buy PLR?

INTERNET MARKETING

I asked this in another thread and didn't get an answer and I'm really curious.

If YOU buy PLR why do you buy it?

To use as content on existing sites?
To get done for you research & content for new niches you want to branch into?
To re-sell as is because you believe you can make a quick buck just selling it on?
I wouldn't dream of buying it as it's garbage and I shouldn't be answering this poll.
Other? What....

Why do I use PLR?

For a few reasons mentioned above

-To use for content on existing sites you already own
Sometimes it's best to have the work and research done for you that way you can focus on the business aspect of your business.

-To get done for you niche research and content on new niches you'd like to get involved with?
Again, Sometimes it's best to have the work and research done for you that way you can focus on the business aspect of your business.

-To re-sell as is and attempt to make a quick buck?
YES. If you are smart you can make a "quick buck" off of PLR.

IMO plr is great and can be a great tool for marketing and for making money and having the grunt work taken care of for you, if used correctly.

I like adding it to my membership sites for existing members. Bonus content. Just anything that check that will add value to my fans.

If I am browsing and I find something good, I will snag it and give it away. I always try to over deliver and people love unannounced bonuses! That is how I use it

2 mains reasons I use PLR:

1) Idea generation- I re-write at least 60% of the content. I usually will keep the section headings and main bullet points and any resources provided. This really comes in handy when I get writers block.

2) Bonus material- Again I either re-write the material or I put a disclaimer that I did not write it but I liked it so much I purchased rights to it to offer it as a bonus.

PLR is a good starting point for content generation if you know how to modify and transform it into unique valuable content.

  I use it to generate ideas for new content (articles, reports, etc.) or I rewrite it completely and make it my own unique content.
  
  The key to getting the most out of PLR is to get high quality PLR to begin with. Get that part right, and you'll save a ton of money getting quality content produced for sites, autoresponders, memberships, etc.

I use the PLR material to create a much bigger value of product on the front end and also split some of the material into short report as the bonus value.

Spin it with spin rewriter and use it on website, sometime you do not use the whole article, but just part of the idea and meaning of a PLR article.

I do that to get ideas and re-write it and add more valuable stuff for myself, I can use it or I also may sell it. I love doing this.

It is a good resource to use for idea generating and rewriting. The difference lies in what quality you are buying.

Is it 500 articles scrapped from various sources that have been written back in the days when you could simply put a collection of sentences together with keywords stuffed all over the place or is it actually decent quality content?

If it is the latter then you can use it for your list or to forge your own content.

I mainly use it as a way to add extra value to anything I either give away or sell.

You can find some fantastic PLR out there once you know where to look.

I would highly recommend newcomers especially use high quality PLR that
they can get their hands on.

It gets you established and in the game of becoming a seller and not
just a repeat buyer.

I use PLR from trusted names on my sites. It helps when needing to come up with new ideas within the topics I write about. It also shortens the time it takes to research and write a new article.
