e-junkie "temporarily unavailable". How often does this happen to you?

Finally put up my first product for sale. Am using e-junkie. When a potential buyer clicks the buy button, e-junkie puts up a page saying "Our shopping cart is temporarily unavailable. Please check back within the hour".

This doesn't seem to be a common occurrence with them, since I can't find that message in a web search, but I'm streaming flop sweat right now! Anyone else get this one? If so how often?

    Hi there,

I've been using e-junkie since March for my e-book and I've never heard of that happening from a buyer, or through my own testing of links, etc. I've also purchased through them before and never seen that message, so hopefully it's not a new glitch in the system or something.

Did you have your product uploaded and everything before you got the message? Just checking, maybe that's the message their system gives if you try to purchase something that hasn't been uploaded yet - who knows?

@Tina, thanks for the gentle (and in my case, totally justified) reminder that it may be pilot error. Yes, my product is uploaded and I went through the buying process a couple days ago. No changes to my code. If you click one of the BUY NOW buttons at OnTheWebInAnHour.com you'll see what I mean (don't worry, you can cancel out!). I also got the same message when I clicked their contact link from their help page.

I just checked and mine is doing the same thing! I just got two emails from affiliates about it as well - that bites!! I guess I'll check support on the e-junkie site.

Sorry about the 'pilot error' inference, just from reading your sales page it's obvious that you really know what you're doing!!

      Thanks for the heads up!!

Now the entire site is unavailable and will be back up "within the hour", that's the message I got on the main page, http://www.e-junkie.com/.

TomCam - I just clicked through to your onthewebinanhour info product. The sales letter said it was $47 .... your shopping cart says the product is called EasyOnMe, and the price is $27.

Is that what you had in mind?

    Ah, relief. That was unpleasant.
