Hey guys,

I am about to have some slide show videos made for me for one of
my up coming products.

i was wondering, do you think people would trust a female voice more then a maile?

thats your thoughts?

Yes, a female's voice gets more attention.

If possible, maybe a male voice for the facts/benefits list or the like and the rest in a female voice. Like said a female voice can be more 'interesting' but men still do 'dominate the business arena.' Just a thought.

Depends who is your target market, if your target market is mostly male, yes a female voice will help. However the important thing is that your product is remarkable and really works, the rest is pure marketing.

When was the last time you heard a male voice on an automated
    phone answering system.

Call any company and you're bound to hear a female voice.
Reminds us all of mommy's sweet and comforting voice.

If it's just a question of a choice of voice-over selection, I think it'd be up to the individual voices (ie, good male voice better than poor female voice).

However, there are certain niches like "Moms helping Moms make money online" for instance, that definitely helps trustworthiness.

The most important thing is that you hire really professional
voice over tallent, regardless of sex.
Whatever you do, make it sound like a 'friendly business'.

if your product is about aggressive marketing tactics - than male. If it's not an IM product - just depends what it is. service - professional, maybe female.

I don't think it really matters all too much. To me, if the person comes across like an arrogant jerk I probably wont buy... but if the person sounds sincere and humble I am much more likely to get the product.
