Best Way to present an opt in?

Warriors,

I will be in and out today to check this thread. Sorry I have been away for a while.

Question: What is the best way to present an opt in form? What companies could you recommend. I was hoping for a pop up or a fly in form.

Please advise. Thanks.

You'll think this unhelpful, but it's whichever way works best for you when you test it, really.

Discussed here (at great length!): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...te-thread.html

For myself, I wouldn't dream of using either. They're honestly among the things I wouldn't even be willing to test. I wouldn't be interested even in knowing how many people opt in to them, because I already know from surveying and discussing it with my subscribers in a wide range of different niches that the people who are going to become my best customers are exactly the ones who won't opt in to those (and might not even visit my site ever again, if I had them).

Your mileage may vary, of course, but be aware that "the biggest list" and "the list that produces the most income" are almost never going to be the same thing, and there are reasons for that. So whatever you decide to test, you might want to look well beyond testing only subscriber numbers.
