How many of you warriors are into video marketing?

Do you use your video just to gain traffic or do you use direct aff link in your video description?

What is the best way to monetize a video?

I have a channel with 100 subscribers and I haven't got a clue what to do with them :/
I bet only 2% of them could be converted into sales...

Will be spending more time on youtube now after I read some interesting posts here.

Had some good and bad experience with video views and learned my lesion.

Got any advices, recommendations or comments you could contribute?

    Hi Dominik

We create videos for our clients, but never really looked at monetizing our own on YouTube etc, but its on the list,

We did do a silly one on YouTube, for our video skin package, before it had the makeover, I wouldnt say it was an excellent video but it was certainly fun making it,

    Thanks

        Hi there

I haven't really focussed much on video to generate traffic, but I am using it as a powerful selling tool.

I've sold several $200+ products via 20 minute videos, and each has generated more than $5,000 in less than 24 hours, converting at 10%+ to my list.

For example, my Automatic Traffic Blast product is sold exclusively by video for $197, and it's very nearly my highest converting product. It's also cool that such a video takes just a few hours to create, as opposed to a few weeks for an equivalent converting sales letter (for me anyway).

I'm only just tapping the surface but I'll certainly be using video more and more for my selling messages.

        Cheers

So you use video on your page or on video sites with your aff link?
In your opinion what converts better - letters or a real person talking about the product?

            Hi there

In the example above the video was selling a new product I'd created, and I then emailed my list showing them the video.

To my list of buyers, who know and trust me, then video wins hands down as a selling tool for a $197+ product (I've sold a lot of different products via video in the past 4 months!).

To prospects who DON'T know me then video just edges out a long sales letter, but it depends on the offer etc.

But to MY list of buyers I always get a better response to higher priced offers when selling with video.

            I hope this helps.

Videos definitely go above and beyond "the norm" and help you stand out.

As far as submitting videos to youtube for traffic, I've gotten some. If you know what you are doing, it isn't too hard to get a fair amount of views and decent SEO ranking (even though it may be short lived). Of course getting those people to your page is all up to you. You really have to make them want to follow you.

One thing that i've had luck with is making a two part video, with the second video actually being on YOUR website, so they have to come to you

Video sites all give you backlinks in the description and an opportunity to brand your particular product in your username.

I think a video used for live product reviews with an affiliate link made handy, or for a squeeze page is the most effective.
