That's a tough question, it would depend on the quality of your content, maybe let some Warriors in for free and have them give you back a testimonial and some feed back on the quality of your content then you could adjust the price accordingly.

If you're targeting newbies don't raise the bar over $30. I've sold a helluva a lot of memberships for MMM, but I also have a helluva lot of refunds. Keep it cheap. Especially if its beginner stuff. Count on having a large low paying user base, not a small high paying one. You'll save on refunds this way too. |

This is your site so ultimately you have to find the best price to charge. That comes down to testing. And with a membership site, that can be a long process. Subscriber A paying $27/month may stay with you 10 months and Subscriber B may be happy to pay $47/month but only stay for 6 months. Who has the most value? At first glance maybe subscriber B ($282 total spend against $270), but consider the fact that you had an extra 4 months with A - who may have bought a couple of affiliate products in that extra time with you. Here's a method. Pretend you are a customer coming to your site for the very first time. What would you be willing to spend? Create the site that you would want if you were a paying customer. You won't go far wrong with that. |

First of all I never try to "sell" a membership. Give them something for a couple of bucks and include a free 7, 14 , 30 day membership that automatically recurs. Just remember to give them a way out . No one likes to be in a membership they can't find a way out of . I actually charged $17.95 a month for a membership once and didn't retain a lot of people . I set the same site up as a 24 week course and charged $5 a week ($20 a month) and still have a lot of people in it . Some times it is how you present the price more than the price . |

It is hard to say what is the right price. It depends on many different things. For somebody $9.95 is a lot, but on the other side there are people that will pay $999 or more if membership site is good.

Let me give you my first impression, and this is not in any way to discourage you. I belong to a few memberships of "gurus" some of them actually physically mail me products monthly and also include an online component. I don't pay more than $97 for any of them and most are around $50 or less. Many of these guys are making millions annually and it's a pretty powerful "proof" selling point to be learning from someone who has accomplished that. In addition there is the physical component. In short, you are going to compete with guys making millions and offering me a physical product as well as an online component and who do it for under $50. In light of that, how does your 4k per month sound and what sort of value can you offer to compete with what's out there? Let that soak into your pricing decision and how you frame your offer. |

I have a question that I posted on the higher, upper end/range of pricing. Varying price of Membership Site subscriptions. What is the higher range you heard of? The natural inclination is to think that high price automatically will fail. However, let's consider how people will actually to respond to a good value promise (emotional response), rather than have then analyze the offer piece by piece. This is how people buy in the real world, isn't it? |
