Since about the time that EZA changed their format, traffic to my sites has not really changed. But the % CTR for AdSense has fallen through the floor. My revenue is down about 33%. Has anyone else experienced this same drop? Thanks. |

Hi, I' glad someone brought up EZA as I didn't want to start a whole new thread on it. Sorry to hear your adsense has gone down but I have to give credit where credit is due here. After a big hoo ha over Ezines new rules/editors/adsense I have to say I just submitted an article yesterday for the first time in ages and it was accepted in less than 24 hours! No problems whatsoever and I only have a basic plus account! I had to look at the screen a few times to believe what I saw. I've also had, so far, a reasonable view/click ratio so maybe things are looking up. Again sorry to go off topic here a bit but just wanted to convey my joy |

Alpha, How would you explain a change in Ezine's format and an Adsense CTR drop on your site? If your traffic has not changed, I can't see any way a change in format and the drop in CTR could be connected. Is it possible the ads on your site have changed? Derrick |

I make a ton of money online, so much I have to keep reminding people. Really I Do.

Yves, I have also had good results with EZA in the past. It may be that there is not a connection between the changes at EZA and the drop in my AdSense CTR, but I cannot find anything else that has changed. Enjoy your good results.

Derrick, I am wondering if viewers click on the AdSense ads on EZA, then read my article, click on the author box to go to my sites, and then skip my AdSense ads because they looked at the ads on EZA.There may actually not be a connection between the changes at EZA and the drop in my AdSense CTR, but I cannot find any other changes. That is why I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same type of drop.

I could understand you making a connection between the change and the direct traffic from EZA to your site, but once on your site your own Adsense CTR shouldn't be impacted. Maybe if your Adsense blocks are in the exact same place that EZA's are, and those clicking through to your site have already ignored them once...?

bannor32, my AdSense ads are in the same place as the EZA AdSense ads. So that could be the connection.

I have seen a CTR decline overall since EZA added more Adsense blocks. What I have not seen is any decrease in my own Adsense CTR. I don't see how there can be any connection to EZA in that regard. John |

The thing is with the ezine adsense ads, I think if someone clicks on the adsense there, they don't actually end up reading the article. Maybe you should give it another week or so and see how your stats go. Hope things improve. | |
