HELP: Video Hosting Solutions?

Hello Warriors

Just finished my first training videos which I will offering as WSO.

I've got membership site already set up, however I am looking for video hosting solutions.

I don't want to upload them to my own hosting as this will likely slow down my other sites, right? (I use Host Gator baby plan).

My budget is tight, therefore free services would get the most of my attention, however all other suggestions are very welcome!

Any additional info on how to host, where to host etc. is highly appreciated as this is the first time I am doing this.

Thanks so much!
Aurelijus

If you dont have very big video files you can use youtube and set the videos private. Another option is to use Amazon S3 to Host Streaming Videos

All tutorial is 300+ MB, so I reckon it's pretty small.

If I use YouTube private - I can't embed videos to my membership site which is made with WordPress, and WP doesn't allow private videos.

Also, YouTube have suggestions which would take tutorial viewers out of the site lol.

I know Amazon S3 and I will look into that if there's no alternative free way...

      Thanks for your answer anyway.

I did this type of freelance work few years back. You can embed private videos in your membership site. And there's also a way to disable featured or related videos at the end.

I don't remember exactly how I did it. But it can be done with youtube. Try to google it.

I may have set video privacy to 'anyone with the link' or somethin like that. Sorry I can't remember it.

Disabling related videos is as easy as adding some code to the end of video URL. I don't remember exact code either

Vimeo is another good solution , they allows you to lock your videos with a password !

I would consider FFmpeg hosting, which shouldn't be to expensive. That along with a video hosting script can create a video sharing site similar to YouTube. There are obviously a number of advantages to having the videos on your own site rather than YouTube. This post has some good suggestions. Hope this helps.
