  If you're looking to go into a boxing or rap, I would look on ClickBank and see if any products are being sold about the topics. I would go to Google and see if anyone is paying for ads about the topics. Probably would search using Google's Keyword Planner as well to see what people are searching for.
  
  Obviously, boxing/rap are too broad for your business. Try to think 3 levels deep when it comes to a niche business. Boxing-->Styles of Boxing-->Specific Techniques of the Style of Boxing.

  find a niche, find a problem in that niche and provide a solution to that problem.

You can borrow Harry's Wand or Samantha's nose or maybe the Good Witch's magic.

However, if you're serious and willing to work hard, do your research, Google the question and find some answers, search this forum for threads that relate and ask the right questions and you'll be off to a good start.

While some people consider planning what niche to invest in as unimportant, it is actually the most crucial thing in creating an income-generating blog.

Another thing you need to consider is your skills. Do you have the web design and SEO skills to create the perfect blog for you?

If you have a lot of experience with boxing why not write a eBook about the subject? Share your knowledge, experiences, and techniques. Then, slap the book on your website and drive traffic. Re-invest the money you earn in more traffic and soon you will be making a steady stream of income.

People ask me: how do I find my niche

You can go either where the profit is (but maybe you have no clue about the industry, and you'll have to team up with someone who does, or learn more about that on your own, which takes time, effort and errors...)

OR

You could start in a niche where you already know something about. Where it'll feel much easier to talk or write about.

Online, if you don't know how to properly talk or write, to convey your message, then you have to learn it. Or, find one who already knows it well, and propose a JV deal either for a blog/site/forum or info product you could both profit from.

Win-win.

You need:
1. to have a product or few products to promote
2. buy a domain name from a registrar - around $10 for one year and rent a web hosting around $10 per month. Create content about the products on your website.
3. generate targeted traffic to your website for making sales through the internet

And you make money!
