I have heard of those websites for getting tons of "targeted traffic" from people clicking links.

I'll say this much from a traffic perspective , it is junk .

And the people clicking the links are getting peanuts if anything if you ask me.

@cobwab. What do YOU think is the answer to that question? I'm not asking to be facetious. I'm asking because if, after 7 years of membership of this forum, you truly cannot work out the answer for yourself then the world of IM is definitely not for you.

Plenty of people make money this way. It's really not that much work and is a more 'guaranteed' way to get paid than most of the IM schemes you'll run into.

I say - go for it. You can also use this traffic for squeeze pages or similar 'MMO' offers simply because the clickers all have PayPal and Payza. Your conversion rate will be low, but the cost is low also. It's worth a look.

I know a guys who make hundred of dollars per month with PTC .. but the thing is that he has got 38000 referrals under his belt... they do the hard labor and he reaps the benefits.

  PTC sites are not a make money rich scheme by any means. It needs commitment.
  
  However, If you do make it through you are assured a constant flow of money to your bank. rather than a big chunk at one go and then a blank.
  
  It maybe pennies at the start, but there are ways to make it grow and quickly just like IM. If you can do IM you can do PTC, Its not rocket science. Plus its very satisfying feeling that you get that your really earned it. Nothing like good hard work.
  You could just advertise your PTC ref link and let them do whatever they want and have a bunch of referrals who don't click, or you can recruit them through a website and give them enough information to actually make it through by themselves and have active referrals and make it through your self. Ill let you figure that out for yourself.
  
  Unless ofc you prefer to cheat a few people and sell them crap they cant use to make a easy buck like most of these IM gurus do. Have you ever paid for outdated software or programs that don't work anymore? or paid for the same thing with a new hyped sales page?
  
  I started PTC in 2008 and now I make $150 a week constantly in 5 PTC sites each. If thats not earning I don't know what is. I dont make movies with actors, Have websites with sales pages, I use all free methods like blogger, gmail, FB, twitter, Forums, webs, Yola, etc.. to prove to my refferals they can do it without any investment but with a lot of work.
  
  You have to realize there is a market out there who cant afford to make a online purchase until you find them away. Thats Market is bigger than Your IM Market with respect to number of people, but not when it comes to purchase value, but you don't make money out of purchases in PTC but action. Thats how it works.

Yes there is money to be made here. There are dozens of ebooks that help you to make the best out of your efforts along the way as well. If you interested in the free ebook that I have gotten....pm me. Everyone doesn't have lots of loot to keep dropping to see if the next mentor is going to help them the "right" way. Speaking from experience here....... Patience is the key to this arena though.....but can be done

I used to earn good money with it in the past, however I still know some people who make good money but they spend too much time and effort on it, if they spend the same on any other project they can earn even more.

  been "scam" before lucky just a few bucks . mention they will get 250direct referrals for u .

Indeed. Also, those sites which are real and paying they does not provide more than $0.02 per click. Hardly 4-5 clicks per day. Now calculate my friend, how much days it will take you to earn $1.

I know there are different equations to earn more than that but doesn't matter how hard you try, PTC sites are never worth your labor and time.

PTC sites are okay, but if you are trying to earn from them it does take a long time and usually you only receive small amounts of cash. However a lot of people swear by them. They do seem very popular at the moment. I do find them a good source of advertising, but I look out for new launches, because sometimes the older sites become a little stale. And of course you need to weigh up the fact that people join PTC's to make money not spend it.

Stay out of PTC sites.

As an earner, you will earn very little.

As an advertiser, you will get low quality traffic and almost zero conversion.

I tried, but it wasn't worth it. You could probably make more money if you could build a network of people and get a commission on their clicks, but I didn't have the patience to try something like that.

It wouldn't give you much money as you expected. It will cost you so much time before you can earn a dollar. Even if you have lots of referrals it would only waste your time.

You can do it if you work a lot. Marketing your PTC sites is essential. Be consistent with it and do not give up. It's the only way to succeed. Good luck to you!

Hello, I just wanted to tell you that there is one good PTC place called ojooo.com. It works kinda same as all other PTC but there is in-system rent referrals. And people made some strategies how fast to get money. There are a lot of strategies you can search for it on google though. As for me I am using one where you invest $79 and buy premium+ ( very important to buy premium+ and not premium) and you buy straight 200 rent referrals so they make you like around 8$ daily. Than you wait 4-5 days and buy another 200 so they will make for you around 16$ daily. After 4-5 days you buy another 200 and withdrawing 10$ and so on and so on. By calculations you can make clean $640 by the end of the month. Anyway you all can try it without investments but it will be very slow. If you need some details PM me.

Don't waste your valuable time by working at those junks. Most of them does not pay. Also you will not be able to earn much money if you don't have huge downline which will actually work. So, you should better start a blog, build traffic and monetize it for better results.

I hate income models like this. I joined a site many years ago that would pay me 2 cents for every email that i opened. I quit after the 10th email. Easiest 20 cents i ever made in my life (outside of finding quarters on the ground lol)

  Here is few words from my own experience:
  
  I've been testing ojooo during past month and it works. Of course it doesn't give you that big revenue that users describe in their blogs. You won't get 8$ from 200 rented referrals but still with my 1300 rented referrals I am getting around $20 daily which is not bad. Also you can try it with standard account without any investment and see how it works. As for me I decided to buy premium + and 200 rented referrals at first day and I payed $79 for that and every 5 days was buying more 200 referrals already from money that I earned in system. After a month of work I made money that I invested and some extra which is not bad for doing nothing. All you have to do is click ads during day which takes literally less than 10 minutes, rest of work will do your rented referrals which you buy in system. So I advise you to try it out even on standard if you have spare 10 minutes per day.

It's less than peanuts, its like the worst paying job that I can think of lol

It takes a whole lot of clicking and waiting for ads to load in to get anywhere.

And those people with $100+ withdrawn from their accounts...do you think they did that within a short amount of time?

The answer is no. They most likely took upwards of a month to get to that figure with hours of clicking to get there.

The platforms are the ones raking in the $$ and the people being used for their clicks are getting pulled in because they don't see/realize that the math just doesn't work out.

I came across PTC sites back in 2008, and I consider that time period when I was most lost online lol

They're only a business model to the platforms pulling in people for their unique IP's to click. It is not, cannot be, and will not be any sort of real business for the people signing on to click on ads.

These method is benefits for those having product based websites and have so much amount of money for online marketing divisions. Most of the clicks totally depends on the landing pages where users interact with the website after getting click on specific searches. Most of the clicks doesn't convert click into a business leads.
In my opinion its good for products based websites or some exciting services were user interested to click not just for navigations.

PTC sites are mostly a waste of time. Sure if you are happy to make a few cents per click (which also has a daily limit, so you can't just click a few thousand times a day and make it worth while at least), it may work for you.

Although, depending on what part of the world you live in, a few cents a day may actually be helpful as a side income.

That said, if you think you are going to make more than few dollars a month with PTC sites, you are wasting your time.

You'd be better off using a paid survey site or even one of those GPT sites.

But if you are looking to actually make a living, then you need to get away from these options and look elsewhere.

Wow, I am seriously SHOCKED at all the comments Ive seen in this thread. To say that ptc sites are all a waste of time and wont make you any money is RIDICULOUS.

Can you guys at least research a topic before you post about it?

look, the truth is, no youre not going to get rich off of PTC sites... thats NOT what they're for.

but stuff like adsense takes a looong time to get started and get your first check, so you might as well make some money in the mean time.

FORGET about viewing ads/tasks and stuff like that. they pay a few pennys and dont offer enough opportunities to

nowadays almost all ptc sites allow you to make money BY DOING PAID SURVEYS. at clixsense you can earch .80 to 4.00 for a 15 minute survey...

take a little time out of your day everyday to answer some easy questions and you can earn a couple hundred a month, which isn't a lot, but for a NEWBIE its a great way to earn money that you can use for future IM projects.
