Domain/url question, please help !

Hi Warriors, I just created a new site. When I type in mysite.com,
I can see my site there, but when I type in www.mysite.com
or http://www.mysite.com, the site is not there. I have tried it
many times, same result.

Any idea why is it like this or suggestion to fix it ?

    who is hosting your site? most likely a CNAME zone issue.

    Sorry, that's not my domain name, I just use it for example
    It's still under construction, so .....
    xxxx.com is ok but when i use www.xxxx.com, it's not found
    Anyone can help ?

    Hi there.

    Www is a subdomain, just like blog.domain.com.

    You need to activate the subd.

    Read the FAQ on your hosting site, or write them a mail. They can help you :-)

    Why are people replying to a thread when the OP has the problem resolved?

    Don't people read threads all the way through anymore - some may think that all they want some sig. exposure and not to actually be of help to the problem at hand.

    In is not DNS problem it is a problem how CNAME are set. You now that www is like subdomain. It the same as subdomain.mydomain.com. There should be settings on control panel of your hosting.
    if there no such settings you should ask support team. e.g there are no such setting on LunarPages hosting.
