Most people using them don't even visit your site. They're a waste of time.

I've gotten a few leads from Trafficswarm. And of course traffic... none that ever converted into any sales for me.

    But...

I did buy something once from a vendor advertising their site on Trafficswarm. So i guess it's different strokes for different folks.

That's the thing. I don't want just traffic. I want users to signup.

The people in traffic exchanges want the same thing you do - traffic to your site that 'converts'.

If you have a solution to their problem, then the exchange can work for you.

So in a nutshell, if you have a 'system' that can show them a 'better' way, then these exchanges can work for you.

However, if you just have another business opp (like they're trying to promote), it can be a little harder for you to sell.

Traffic exchange will work only if you offer something of value for free. It works this way, people on T.E joined because they are FREEBIE crazy IM'ers. So you have to give to get their emails, start marketing to them and learn to give them some FREEBIES at times and they will remain loyal to your emails .

So many IM'ers feels they could just make sales from such list with out GIVING, it doesn't work that way. You have to give to get in the T.E industry.

The only CON is, you can't build a list quickly with Traffic Exchange. Every other thing is good if you are on the right track.

I've tried a few of them and have got some subscribers but none of them have ever bought anything. Overall I think they're a waste of time unless you target for traffic exchange users specifically, like already mentioned.

I agree. Probably a waste of time unless perhaps you need alot of traffic to get a lower Alexa ranking. I even bought some paid traffic only to learn that the person was using a traffic exchange to generate the traffic. Luckily I did not pay much. Also, noticed that right after that my amazon site went from the top of page 2 in Google to nowhere to be found.

In that case, it should work for you if you build a list before building your Get Paid To Links

What do you mean building a list?
            These are my referral links.
I don't need anyones email address.

What's the point of having an email list?
I'll jut have all the information right there. They can read it without them giving me their email.

I've tried traffic g and have had some leads come in from them. So I won't say you cant get any leads you just need to test out the waters.

Hello, The simple answer is, yes, and yes. They have always been useful, and they still are. There are two useful methods for getting traffic to your site that will probably never die, though they have been evolving steadily. One is banner advertising (more on that, another time) and the other is traffic exchanges (TE's), like the one on Adlandpro and many others. The variety of style and type is almost endless.

The big mistake that most people make with traffic exchanges, which is why so many now say they don't work, is actually using one or two TE's to advertise their primary business. Never do that! The second thing people do is advertise an affiliate page on traffic exchanges. That also is a big mistake. A bunch of other people are doing the same thing. Have a nice day

No, but he is promoting a GPT and those people are more into that. TE people are all advertising something.

If you are going to advertise on TE,

please make sure it's not an affliate page.

Make a capture page with an enticing offer/freebie that

will encourage the viewer to opt-in.

    Outside the box thinking?
Targeting the Traffic Exchange Users? lulz. Normally they minimize the window with auto surfers.
If the Sound is on, or if people are watching it.
Load up a Mp3 File to play, and a MMO/Biz Opt. Offer.
    Never know haha.

Otherwise Yes, Traffic exchanges are a 100% waste of time.
Social Exchanges Maybe... because who is going to follow someone with 50 followers right?

I tried traffic exchanges for years and can say that you will never sell enough using them. Most of the affiliates don't even look at what they are clicking on because they have several TEs open in different windows and click on them automatically. Only in rare cases could someone read what you put in your ad.

I don't think that traffic exchanges would be profitable. Anybody who engages in them is only out there to get views to his/her own site, and will thus just fly through your website. You'll get zero leads/sales/conversions.

    Hey,
Never use Traffic Exchange websites as long as you want to succeed online. I used Traffic Exchange sites for 2years since 2008 and all I got was just high numbers.

I stopped using TEs after getting banned from Google Adsense. So don't use them, they are a waste of time, waste of your bandwidth, waste of your mouse life.

Instead you can do SEO. You can get SEO actions right in your dashboard with this SEO Advicer plugin. Create useful content and do SEO well. You'll make more money than you'd do with TEs.

    Best Wishes,
    Shyam Chathuranga.

I'm not selling anything anything. I'm just trying to get referrals to sign up under me, so they do offer and surveys, so when they make money, I make money.

I don't need thousands of people. I just need some good referrals.
I'm not trying to make thousands of dollars. Just a couple hundred dollars a month.
