Is it Possible with Using Only Screen Capture?

Can you Warriors tell me if it's possible to build an online business using screen capture.

And if so what are the different ways do people use only screen capture. I wanted to start a youtube channel but I don't want to be seen too much. For instance "White boarding" is a popular method and has story telling, propaganda, stop motion etc in it's types.

And, can you list example of sort of large youtube channels that built their channel with screen capture?

I suppose you could, it's your prerogative.

It's going to depend a LOT on how persuasive you are with your voice if you don't want to show a face.

Anything is possible! Like Jill said though, you will have to have a great voice and add lots of inflection/emotion into your videos. I would consider writing about your subject too. Articles, Blogs, Press Releases, etc.

One of your products might even be HOW you made the screen-cast videos and sell it as a product.

Here's an example of a youtube channel that isn't screen captured, but it doesn't show the author's face much, if at all:

      Carolyn,

The others here have made good points. However, you haven't really given us enough info to help us give you useful feedback.

You talk about starting a YouTube channel, but how do you intend to monetize it? What will you be selling? Who is your target audience? A YouTube channel in and of itself is not a business.

Whether you can stick to screen capture vs. live video depends on a number of factors: what is your niche? Who is your audience? What is your price point? Are you B2B or B2C? Generally speaking, the higher your price point, the more you need to be on camera.

Regardless, you can always start with screen capture and move to live video as you gain experience and feel more comfortable. And in the beginning, you can mix the two: appear on camera briefly and then cut to screen capture for the bulk of the video.

Play with it. Mix it up. But you need a clear business model before you can expect to make money. A YouTube channel does not a business make.

      Hope that helps!

What is your business model ? You can def create products with screen capture only. Andy Jenkins has a very good course for beginners and he uses screen capture with mind maps only

It's definitely possible. I mostly do screen capture because I'm demonstrating something. At some point though it's probably a good idea to show your face. Humanizes you and builds trust in my opinion.

I've made a bundle of money with videos I made 100% from CB sales pages. Simple 60 seconds average. Most took about 20 minutes to produce.

I would rewrite some benefits off the sales page and put in an affiliate link. I still have a couple hundred of these that still make money.

For a short time I also sold them on Fiverr. They sold like hotcakes but dealing with Fiverr clientele was not for me.

Here's one I made from multiple landing pages. I just shot each page and spliced them together.

Video is just a method of content delivery. I think what is far more important is the content of the video. Good content presented in a poor way will do better than crap content presented in a really professional way.

    In short. Content rules.
