Kindle Payment Received right after updating Tax

I sold more than a thousand copies of my first ebook on Kindle but my earnings has been held for months and I was wondering why. After I updated my tax detail, they sent it right away. It's exciting to see first payment in my payoneer account for the first time from Kindle ebook sales.

      Fiction (young Adult) with targeted audience (ethnicity).. I only have 2 books. The other one was a moneymaking guide (the first one)and sold less than a hundred copies. My first fiction was posted 6 months ago and sold more than a thousand copies. I am working on the sequels and planning to make it a trilogy...

      Fiction is already flooded but people love to read stories. I find it hard to sell moneymaking ebooks in kindle. I think the reason is that, most internet marketers does not use kindle device like myself.. lol

    I would like to learn a few simple promotional techniques if you could share yours - besides submitting your ebook to numerous sites during its free period.

    My first Kindle is being offered for free this week, but I don't think I have enough time for promotions.

      My book has its own official site months before it was released in Kindle. I SEOed that site months before the release of the book.I did not submit my ebook to other sites except Kindle. I had a pretty good preparation.
