Please Comment on This Idea: How to Make Money from Web Design, Outsourcing EVERYTHING
So, just an idea, please tell me what you think about it. 
I'm thinking of trying to attract people who have an eye for design and perhaps have a bit of experience from photoshop, gimp or the like, tell them that if they can find customers and do the design for a web site, I'll handle everything else, they keep the money.
So basically what I'll do is I'll open a cheap reseller account, send their design to some psd->html slicer in india or china and then I'll install a cms for them.
The designer can charge the customer whatever they like, and I'll bill the customer something like 75 bucks a month, charging them annually. The slicing and hosting fees can be very low. If the customer keeps the web site for say 3 years, that's an easy 2,5k or so for me! In essence I've outsourced pretty much every step - from finding customer, doing the design, the coding and hosting. I only act as an interface.
Does anyone do this?
The hard part of course is finding designers, but I think quite a lot of young people and students know their way around photoshop enough and would love the extra money.
