Blog Network Web Design Costs

I'm debating if I should spend a few thousand dollars more to have a custom web design for each of my blogs in my blog network or buy gigs on fiverr for this.

Would you go with custom or cheap. If I go the cheap route do you think this would affect product sales, bounce rates etc. Do you think this would make a big difference in visitor experience.

I know it boils down to budget but would like some feedback.

I'd always say custom over cheap but I'd be a bad web designer myself if I'd suggest going on Fiverr.

I chose entrepreneurship over further education despite being laughed at by my friends and family..

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)

Not to exclude anyone or be rude in any way, but was hoping to hear from some pro marketers on this one.

Whats the purpose of your blog network? To generate traffic or for seo?

If they are blogs, why not just use Wordpress and load them up with good themes? Would give you good theme diversity, the network would be based on a good framework, and WP is open source and has loads of plugins that can be really helpful when customizing the sites.

yes this is exactly what I will be using so would it be a good idea to spend a few hundred dollars to customize each theme.

If you have a good budget then there's no need for you to use fiverr gigs.
