Vendor question : What if affiliate pay me first ?

Is it possible, if affiliate pay me in advance for my physical products?
For not confusing you all, I will replace affiliate words with agent after this
It work like this.
Let say the product is $20.
Agent pay me in advance for $5.
I will give them the product, and they can sell it at $20 per unit.
The agent need to order at least 100 unit of products.
Place as agent will be limited, let say, I just need not more than 20 agent.
This has been done with other physical products, but I'm not sure, how success this will be if implemented for IM products, perhaps in DVD format.
What's your opinion on this?
By the way, the agent will be among my previous student and mentee, so it is a privilege for them.
