to make good money monthly without a webpage? What I mean by that is if one can be sucessful in the IM business with out having any knowledge of building a website? and ofcourse not having to pay big bucks for someone else to build it for you? I know I can buy a domain and foward the sales page from a clickbank product with my hoplink to it. But are anyone of you out there really sucessful without any knowledge of building a webpage.

I think it's like any other industry in that you need to start at the bottom and work your way up. At the bottom you design your own sites and in doing so learn A LOT about the industry. Once you have done this you can outsource the monotonous tasks to others WITH THE APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDANCE. But you need to have at least some of the core skills to be able to do this.

I think it's a case of not running before you can walk. Although I guess it does happen, anybody that wants to make it in the IM world must know the basics, and it doesn't come any more basic than designing websites.

Hi, its not that difficult to learn how to build a web page. If you really don't want to learn how to do it yourself, then check out Blogger - if you can master MS Word then you can create a website on Blogger.

Yes that is an option to do a heap of article marketing for a product and have your domain to redirect to an affiliate product. Give it a go and see how you go.

Ultimately it will be good to learn how to create a website for long term, but sure you can just do a redirect and a lot of article marketing.

You could also build a Squidoo lens or hubpages and have them linking to your 'redirect' domian.

It is SO not difficult building websites. You could learn it in a week if you have some simple software. In fact, it's a lot easier to build websites that it is to make money online...

What Andy Said. It's easier to get a website up than it is to make money online.

But really, there are so many ways to build a site. That's not really your obstacle.

To make money online - you need to do research and spend time at it. Be prepared to get laser focused on one or two things for awhile and really make them shine.

Before you do that, you need to PICK what 2 things you want to laser focus on.

If you're just starting out - my suggestion is don't get caught up in all the hoopla and courses out there. Ask more questions here, you'll get good answers. Make sure your questions are not answered already - do a search and see if it's already been asked.

      Good luck!

Here are some ways you might be able to go with marketing without a web page:
    - getting a blog with blogspot or wordpress.com (blogspot might be the better route to go if you are doing affiliate marketing since word press seems to have restrictions on referral links).
    - joining forums that allow you to post or share referral links (such as earn money space, though they mainly specialize with downline systems and ptc programs)
    - join traffic exchanges and surf at least 4 hours a day minimum. The main downsides to traffic exchanges, though are that 1) other surfers are not obligated to respond to your ad, 2) they do have some restrictions on what you can post (for example, if you website has popups or popu unders/live chat window, you may want to consult the TOS before posting). If you need a list of traffic exchanges we are a part of, feel free to pm someone that is a member at them and we will be happy to hook you up with them.
    - pay per click advertising for companies that allow you to link directly to their websites.
    - you could also try ezine articles, but they tend to frown on referral links and will reject articles that look more like an advertisement (which means that you would have to mask your marketing efforts).

Hope those gave you some ideas.

Ezinearticles lets you use up to 2 referral links in the resource box at the end of the article, they just want you to use redirected links (get a domain name and set it to point at your affiliate link since you don't have your own website) instead of actual affiliate links. As for accepting marketing material in your articles, they actually allow quite a bit even though they have an extensive list of editorial guidelines. Just go to their site and read through a few of the articles which were accepted, you'll see how to write it so they're okay with it. Other article directories have their own rules, so be sure to read their guidelines.

In my opinion, it's not only possible, it's a good thing.

Ultimately, you'll want to be building lists and having your own websites as your main focus, however, you can also have additional income streams generated without your own web pages.

As someone mentioned above, you can forward a domain straight to an affiliate link. If you get an articles ranking well in the search engines, you can make a lot of money this way.

        I don't think there is enough time in the world for me to enter and maintain EVERY niche I have thought about going into, so here is what I'm doing;

I currently have 20 domains that are in niches where people are kind of looking for a quick solution and there isn't much of a backend. Because of this I'm in the process of writing a couple of hundred articles and forwarding all the domains to their affiliate links in their respective niches.

I'm also picking out about 8-10 niches that I want to go deep in, which I'll have my own websites in and will building lists and creating my own products.

I think by doing this you allow yourself many different avenues to generate income whilst still having your main focus on building your business.

        Just my $0.02

Eventually you will need to learn how to build simple sites so why not start now. Fortunately, these days building a site is very easy and affordable:
    Get a domain name $9
    Get a hosting plan $5/m
    buy a good autoresponder $19/m

Auto-install wordpress thru your hosting account, choose a theme, create a page and add your content. You could have this all figured out by tomorrow.

To answer your question: yes it is possible to make good money with out your own website. But in my opinion... it's easier with your own site. It give you more control and often you'll need to if you intend on using Adwords due to quality score etc.

Besides, building a website is really not as hard as some people make it out to be. I personally use Xsitepro but as someone said previously, something like blogger.com or wordpress can be a good start.

    Hope this helps.

It IS possible. But you would have to be VERY good at it. If you are newbie, please learn the skills. It is worth all the time invested. W3.org is a good resource for learning HTML for example.

However, you can start with free services such blogger or wordpress (stick with blogger for now until you get more experienced as wordpress can be tasking and confusing). Buildd your contents on such places, make some money, and buy a domain name and a hosting package. It really isn't that hard.

You can do a LOT with a free blog at blogspot.com, owned by our favorite search engine. You can put up a paypal button for any product, you can post about any product and have your affiliate links in the post. I would start there. Learning blogspot is a good introduction. You will learn some valuable skills that will transfer over to your first self-hosted website. Don't get caught up in buying software to make a pretty website. Ugly websites make money, too.
