Today, what is mandatory for a new e-commerce?

Hey guys!
I'm starting a real e-commerce in Brazil. We have produced a top-quality layout, an excelent logo and quality products -- but we are not selling yet (I want to start in December).
So far I've been writing a blog in order to bring visitors. I've been translating good posts from top American blogs (women blogs) and I also have been writing relevant commentaries on Brazilian blogs to create backlinks.
What more should I and must I do to rule the Brazilian market? The competition is not concerned with SEO and I've tracked them all.
I have wondering to buy a software buy since the last updates from Google I do not know if it still a good thing.
So put it simple: What more should I and must I do to rule the Brazilian market?

Thank you guys!

Look into starting an affiliate program so others can advertise your website and earn commissions on the referred sales.

Find a newsworthy angle and release a press release that your local or target market will pick up.

Create and distribute a free ebook or guide with the topic being closely related to the products you sell. For example, if you sell gardening products, educate people and provide them with information on how to have the greenest looking lawn. You can also use this approach to build an email list.

Get social - there is way to much information already available on this subject for me to cover in this post - but do a search on social media marketing and jump in.

Many of the same marketing tactics that work in America will work in Brazil - just target your market in Brazil using the same tactics. (This forum is full of information)
