Hey fellows, I own a new site, almost 2 weeks old. I am submitting unique content to the website, but I didn't submit anything to article directories. I am not getting a lot of traffic. Do you guys think, I should submit more articles to directories such az goarticles and ezinearticles? For instance, write one article for my website, and submit two to these directories? What would you do? Thanks Gellert |

article submission is probably the best long term strategy. you might want to look at different forms of promotion, and keep in mind that it will take persistent effort to yield results. for a long while it seems as if nothing will happen, and suddenly you see it starting 2 come in maybe you can state your link, and let some more people give input. |

I would put at least some of it out into article directories. Possibly rewritten, summarized, etc. Something that I'm not clear on here, is where are you getting traffic from? Just putting the site up won't get traffic, unless there's some link to it from somewhere.

Place unique quality content to your website first. Re-write part of them as articles and submit them to directories. Posting content on your website won't give you traffic, search engines and article directories bring them for you. JTYS |

Also try sending your articles to relevant sites that have newsletters. Newsletter owners are always in need of articles. Try these newsletter locators, they list newsletter specifics such as how often the newsletter is published and their number of subscribers. | Are people supposed to get a link from the synopses placed in article directories back to the writer's website, where they can get full versions?

Here is an idea. Write a long 1,000 word article. Split it into two. Submit one half to article directories and post the other half on your blog. Then link to your blog article from your article resource box. ![]() I always submit content both to article directories as well as my own site. There are opportunities both ways so I won't want to neglect either one.
