Using the Chrome Suggestion Bar to "Steal" Traffic???
Case Study.
Lets say there is a truck rental company in Miami. They are called "Big Truck Rentals" and they have been promoting their website all over town on billboards, radio and tv. Their ads just tell everyone to go to bigtruck.com to get your next truck rental.
So I am a warrior and I just happen to own my own truck rental shop in Miami. I run out and buy the domain BigTruckRentalMiami.com, put up a nice mini site and landing page..... Now my one and only goal here is to get this site to show up in the google chrome address bar and hope that some people will get so far as to type www.bigtruc..... and bingo my domain bigtruckmiami.com pops up below and people click on it.
So I just wanna get some thoughts here and bounce this off you guys. How hard would it be to get a new site listed in the address bar suggestions? My thought was to just buy 5 or 10 fiverr gigs to promote the new site. I know they suck for real SEO but I dont care about ranking this site, just want it to show up in the address bar on chrome.
Anyone done this? Ideas? Suggestions?
