Can i earn from doing Gameplays at Youtube

you have to be really good in my opinion to get noticed in the gaming community on youtube today (not saying you can't do it) but I believe commentary is definitely needed, also your gonna need some good hardware and recording devices to enhance the quality of your videos and commentaries as well. If you're good at it and can get noticed, then yes, you can earn from it.

Definitely can. I suggest finding something unique and original about your videos though, as there's thousands of gaming videos and people trying to get noticed.

yes i guess i have a unique idea i was just wondering
if the commentary is needed or not
and also is there going to be any problem on monetizing the video on youtube
plus i am not targeting English countries i will be targeting the Arabic ones which has far less competition

the only problem is that i am really tight on the budget i guess that the upcoming games for at least next 6months are going to work also on the ps 3 i figured i would buy a used one and see things if they work

There are so many people already doing game plays. You need a dynamic or interesting stage presentation to stand out from the many others already doing game play videos. Or, you could choose a new slant or niche of gaming that is not currently being covered.

I think that Youtube isn' the first place for Gamers earning money.

There are platforms that are specialised in streaming your game, but you can definitely make a living with gaming. Have a look here. Crazy story!

You need to strive to make a big enough YouTube Channel. To rise up quickly, make walkthrough or lets play series of new hot games. Be the first one to do it and you will be top in YouTube for that game.

Making game play videos of new, emerging Indie games is a good idea as not many gamers are creating Let's Play gamer videos for those. Most of the game play videos are for the large platform games such as Battlefield 3, GTA series, etc.

If you decide to create youtube videos, make sure to create videos of games that have been release recently. Those games get the highest amount of search volume. Place an affiliate link underneath your video and watch your amazon affiliate account getting filled with money :-)

Hell yeh! I use youtube for a big chunk of my income and there's no reason why you cant.

Just make sure you're offering something good in your videos and not just showing gameplay.

Maybe offer tips on how to complete levels in a game. Maybe show some hidden cheats in the games you play. Things that will help people and make sure this is clear in your video title so it entices people to watch your video.

Could you make money? Yes, you could, many people do in fact. However, getting to that point where you make money is quite hard to do. One of the main reasons people, (based off personal experience), watch gameplays is because they like to see people do interesting and cool things, more often then not things they can't do themselves. So basically, if you want to do gameplays, you need to have a very good system/recording equipment, and be very good at whatever game your doing it for.

I have some gameply videos and I can honestly tell you the income isn't very good for the amount of work it takes to make these types of videos. You basically have to play all the way through any game you are making videos for because what folks are looking for in this niche are how to do things in the game they haven't figured out yet. In other words you have to be an expert player for any game you are making videos for. So you're going to be playing games day in day out 12 hours a day or more if you're going to make a credible run at it. Your also going to have to have 100s of videos up for each game you are working with just to get a small trickle of income. And then the problem is once you get the 100s of videos up the game is no longer popular so you constantly have to be playing new games and making new videos to replace the ones people loose interest in.

This niche is dominated by kids for the most part because they are willing to put the crazy time into gaming in return for less than a $1k a month in income.
