does anybody know any domain name tools that I can use to identify whether these domain names that I have are brandable or not?

some of the domain names on my list are as below:

ampitmedia.com amremedia.com andosmedia.com aosunmedia.com aphrimedia.com aqimedia.com asarmedia.com assamedia.com avaomedia.com ayeahmedia.com aynamedia.com azxmedia.com

They are all brandable, you can create a brand using any of them. Some are easier than others, the biggest thing is that you have to be able to say the name out loud and have it sound OK.

Some of the words you have used couple with media are easier to say than others. 2 vowels next to each other in a word makes it harder to use unless they join together to make a single unique sound.

Brandable is a very subjective term, so automated tools can not exist.

You will have a difficult time selling those unless there are existing companies known by those names..... in which case you could be called a trademark infringer by trying to sell something to them they already have rights to.

Unfortunately I have to agree with @dubdubdubdot. Nevertheless if you'd ask me I would keep andosmedia.com and perhaps asarmedia.com & assamedia.com. The rest I see it more difficult to market.

Which automotive tool may have suggested the domain name Google? But it is a brand now. You choose a domain name which is catchy and sounds good, promote it as a brand. Thus a brand name grows.

If you had to choose between google.com and assamedia.com, which do you think you would go with?

I think, unfortunately, that these are all stinkers. I honestly would not spend a single dollar more to keep them registered. I can't imagine a scenario where you will get an interested buyer for any of them.

The thing about brandables is that, for the most part, they either "work" or they don't. If it is short, pronouncable, a single "word" and digestible, then it has a decent chance.

None of those examples come even close, unfortunately. Visit brandbucket.com to get a sense of what a good brandable looks like.

I am sorry for my harsh tone here, I really don't like to be discouraging. But someone has to stop you before you lose more money on this path.

    One other thought...

Forget about automated tools to do your work. This is not like appraising jewelery. Each domain is unique, and the tools out there are no substitute for taking the time to research the industry and learn what does (or does not) have value on your own.

Start at dnforum.com (a community of domainers) and dnjournal.com (for news and weekly lists of actual domain sales)

And for pete's sake... stop registering domains until you get a much better idea of how it all works.

      Hi,

Brandbucket and namestall are the first ones I think of. They both have some very good tools that will help you out with this. Those are some tough domains to brand out.

      What made you choose them?

ALL domains are brandable - that's entirely up to the buyer/owner. The domains you listed are going to be an extremely tough sell unless they have specific meaning to a particular company.

Anybody can go and register an almost unlimited number of domains right now that look like yours, _____media.com. What makes yours special? That's the question you have to answer for yourself.
