Brand Tracking / Name Tracking ?

Okay I recall hearing about online software that made Brand Tracking and Name tracking possible. I think I saw it in a Sitepoint newsletter a long time ago. I think I also saw it mentioned somewhere else too.

I know it's also sort of available in a new Twitter tool for Adobe Air.

But I tried doing some googling on where i can find that stuff - and I can't. Either it doesn't actually exist or i'm too stupid to think of the right keyword phrase to find it.

Anyone know if it's possible? I seem to recall something like you getting emailed a site when it's show that your name or website or whatever is on it.

Maybe I'm totally remembering this sooo wrong. In any case, thanks for any help!
