helping my friend donation site

Hey guys well i am just writing this post because i want to make a donation ad for my friend/brother on who is a double above the knee amputee and want to share his story with the world in hopes of helping teens be aware of the dangers of what can happen on a night out with alcohol . Iam hoping he could be able to walk again and just have a second chance at life. This ad will posted on gofundme.com and my question to this community is. how will i go about exposing him to a lot of people. We will start tomorrow on this project and hope for the best. thank you

p.s i have never done this, this will be a challenge to have people give away free money but we are hoping with his story will help save lives.

    recovery or psa basically we cant afford new prosthesis and we just want him be able to walk normal again. but also delivering a message

    Cool. That's an awesome thing you're doing. Why not post a thread here and allow people to donate? Doesn't gofundme take 5%?

      There is a donation thread for Tim doing the rounds but i'm sure you would have to get permission first, no idea how they decide who gets one and who doesn't...

    ah ok thanks. Making a difference is what really matter. Glad to see you are doing this. One way to raise some funds would be to create a product and then have all the sales of the product go towards your friend. This way people are getting something for their donation and they get to help out as well.
