Understanding Pain Points of Internet Marketers

Hi Warriors,

I wondering if there is a resource or method where one could discover the most common pain points for newbie marketers, and/or people who desire to escape their job to have more freedom. I would imagine there has been so many things uncovered over the years, and that at one time someone has made a detailed post or product about these. At any rate, if you have discovered in your research the most common pain points for newbies looking to make money online, I would like to find and/or create some type of list.

Thoughts?

    It isn't very complicated to see what is causing most people pain in their lives. there is nothing different about the groups of people you are asking about. I don't mean that in a bad way, its just isn't complex.

    Desire to have something more.
    Frustration with current status.
    Envy.
    Fear of losing out on something cool - this is what drives many WSO's.
    Anger at somebody else getting something.

      I thought reading the four hour work week best covered all of the points from why, how, and what to do to except the nine to five routine. For marketers, the main pain point for entry seems to be the amount of failure it takes prior to success. Most people start out expecting to build their first affiliate campaign, Facebook page, or email list will take them to millions of dollars of money with little work. The truth seems to be it works better to start out when you already have a job and that the amount of failure you have to put up with prior to success tends to be more than most people can handle. How many affiliate offers do you have to try before you find the right combination? How hard to you have to work to get to a client that can support your way of life? To me it seems most people starting out are looking for a quick fix and once they see success is going to cost thousands of hours, thousands of dollars, and never be easy, they go back to what they did before.

    Are you asking what drives people to want to start making money online? Or are you asking what's difficult for newbies after they start trying?

        Nothing drives people to start wanting to make money online. Wanting to make money online is not a primary motivator, it is a possible solution to a basic fear..

        Its not splitting hairs, because for many people who have fears of lack, winning the lottery would be OK with them. Or getting a job where they made good money in a great environment would work.

        MMO is only one possible avenue and needs to be differentiated as THE solution.

    A common pain point with newbie marketers is feeling overwhelmed when undertaking a new process/system. If a methodology is not clearly spelled out either step by step or graphically then often newbie marketers will gravitate to the next opportunity. Many times they are juggling a job which in itself can be exhausting so newbie marketers want things spelled out for them. It is only after they get going and see some results do they begin to add twists to the method but many want to be spoon fed in the beginning.

    Common pain points:

    1) Sucking up to stupid boss

    2) Being friendly with co-workers they secretly hate

    3) Not knowing how to market online outside of PPC

    4) Not studying enough

    5) Not knowing the math in their business

    That's a great ?. So many people love to find ways of how to generate income from home as well as online. The reason why so many people do not succeed with It Is because they tend to give up after facing just one obstacle and do not try to advance and gain knowledge but quit.

    It is very sad, but I wish you the best of luck and hope you find something that will help you.(=
