Lol absolutely not, you aren't starting a business or a business owner, so therefore you wouldn't need a license. The only time you ever need a license is if you start a business, however you may need to fill out Tax Forms depending on where you live and how much you make.

I guess it might depend on where you live, if you live outside the US. If you live inside the US, it is illegal to make a dollar without declaring it to the IRS; obviously that doesn't stop millions of people from fudging, and someone making a few hundred a month in commissions probably can fly under their radar, but everyone should at least know there is a risk involved in keeping it hidden, as there is when breaking any law. I assume most countries with income tax want everything declared, and then they'll decide whether you owe and how much.

Your local government body may require that you register with them to do business out of your home.

Not really, as far as I know of. Affiliate marketing is easy and doesn't have to make it complicated. You just join the industry, sell other people's product(s) and make commissions, 100% commissions, if that's what you're looking for.

Make it a great day brotha!

No you do not need a Business License to become an Affiliate Marketer. You are not an owner of a business, or company but the middle man. You help Companies or Business bring traffic to them, and you will be rewarded for that man. Good Luck Take care

If you make any money from your affiliate activities then it could be classed as taxable income. This may well vary dependant on where you live and local legislation. I'd suggest taking some advice from an accountant may be beneficial.

My question with this would be, can affiliate and or adsense income be declared as personal income with the IRS or it requires you to declare it as business income?

Some people do: it depends on your location and the local laws and regulations. Without either your question or your profile mentioning a location, nobody here can possibly answer with certainty - it's a question for a local lawyer or accountant.
