I'm just starting to dip my toe into video marketing and was wondering if I could get some feedback on my approach. Technically, I have no problem putting together the videos. I'm just not sure how best to use them. Do you treat each video somewhat like a unique web page, optimizing it for a single keyword phrase, and thus placing that phrase as the title of the video, and also in the tags? I'm fine with adding an overlay with my URL in the bottom of the video, but it seems many of the sites (except YouTube and a few others) don't allow you to put a live URL into the description. Is there a way to do this that I'm overlooking? If not, how do you get people to your site with your offer? Just a strong call to action made within the video and hope the viewer types in the URL? Any other tips/tricks to effective video marketing? Look forward to replies! -David |

Yes you do want to to use keywords and tags, also you want good content in your discription if you are uploading to video sharing sites. Make sure to put your link first in your discription so people know where to go and another thing is don't sell in your video, referr. What I mean by this is don't push your product or service tell what benefits they will get. |

check out Bubbleply.com.. you can grab any video and put a comment and link within in. Get some traction for the video and you effectively have a clickable link (to site/product/affiliate) for anyone seeing your video. Just one of many many options! Cheers Will |

Not to hijack your thread but this could be helpful for properly optimizing your video. For Warriors using Youtube, do you stuff your description box with tons of keywords? Or do you save those for the tag section? |

You can see how I optimize those keywords in that video by doing a google search for "how to play JJ" ..... it will be the first youtube video in the results. | |

consider using tubemogul TubeMogul is an online video analytics and distribution company serving publishers large and small who need independent information about video performance on the Internet and automated upload to the Web’s top video sharing sites. I stumbled on TubeMogul a couple days ago and have to say I'm impressed. It's really easy to use, and the analytics are pretty slick too. And you can't beat the price... free! |

Do not forget the keyword research when you do video marketing. I mean there is no point in making a video if you do not rank within the first 2-3 pages. Igor |
