Why does my post keep getting deleted?

Hey everyone!

So I posted something that I wrote as a blog post, named
How to Successfully Prospect - And it kept getting taken off? Why, I wasn't trying to sell anything, wasn't trying to promote my products, anything I just wanted to help others have a better mindset on prospecting there customers better so they can make more sales.... And it gets taken off. I message admin, they don't message me back.

Of course I post this to get view-age, and traffic, and to have feedback on the work that I worked hard on... But why? Is this breaking the rules?

These threads typically get deleted also. Read the rules again, if you ever did. You are obviously doing something against the rules.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Well then why don't they delete this one. Yes I did read the rules, and I know that I'm not aloud to ask, but I seriously don't understand why. I have a friend that can't even post a thread on the forum, for days... Whats the point lol

Paul Myers explained it recently as monologue vs dialog.

    Monologues will generally get deleted.

The object of the forum is discussion, which is where the dialog comes in.

You can't delete a thread, only a single post in a thread. As best as I know. But to delete a post in a thread, you go to edit (tyhe button at the bottom, rig side) and then select delete. You have to confirm that in the next window.

If you have to put that much work into it, there's a good chance it will fall into the "monologue" category, no matter how many distortions and contortions you work into it to avoid the issue.

Unless I'm confusing it with another thread I deleted, which is always possible, you also said something about updating it regularly. That's enough to get a thread locked or deleted all by itself.

It's all good, I understand the rules gotta be followed I just like working on things that are bigger. So I'm suppose to keep something like almost 'short and sweet'? Either way its cool, plenty of other places to show people my work but this is a nicely trafficked forum. So it was you that deleted it . I'll read your post fully on that topic and try to work my next one around it! Thanks for the responses though guys, sorry for breakin da rules!
