What Are Some Good OTO Tips?

Hey Warriors,

I'm looking for some input on making an effective OTO.

Are there any major bullet points I should be covering that might easily be over looked? Just generally looking for some input and info. about what has worked for you, what mistakes you made, anything really. Greatly appreciated as always, thanks !

    If you are selling a downloadable eBook, a good upsell is an audio of the same book. Could be an mp3 file of you reading the eBook. You should be able to charge more for the audio version than the printed version.

      If you have the ability, use a payment solution that allows you to implement a "risk-fee" upsell/downsell process, which basically lets your customers request one of your OTOs without needing to reenter their purchase information after the initial sale. To accomplish this, I currently use a plugin for 1shoppingcart located HERE.

      Mike Filsaime has also updated the butterfly marketing software to accommodate this feature.

      PS Just like in your main sales letter, using the power of video in your upsell offers will no doubt help to significantly strengthen conversions as well.
