Article Marketing via Document Sharing sites

In case you haven't noticed there is a new trend toward "Document Sharing" websites like docstoc.com and scribd.com.

They allow you to upload articles as word or PDF documents including linkbacks.

Docstoc just implemented a new feature that allows you to plug in your adsense account and they split the click revenue with you. I have been uploading my own docs along with tons of PLR content.

If you haven't done it already try uploading your articles to these sites. It's a nice alternative to the other article sites.

    Have you seen traffic from any of these sites? I've uploaded a couple, never saw much, course could be my titles, niche, ect.

      Actually yes. AND when I digg my documents they get placed high on google quickly.

      I put hundreds of documents up. Working on thousands.

      Thanks James. I've only uploaded one doc there I believe, time to upload more. Guess was concerned about getting booted if I added to much.

        Ron,
        lol .. would not worry about that dude.. I only have 6 or 7 but the last few months it has generated 500+ visits. Not a real high number but it took me maybe 20 minutes to upload those docs and I did it a few month ago.

        I have not been very active in the site as there is currently no time but for someone that can spend the time I would say the traffic would be pretty good, especially if you can get 50, 100, or more docs on there...

    Docstoc is ENCOURAGING you to upload files with links and they are happy for you to sync it to your documents folder. They are hungry for content people. Feed them.

      You can get tons of traffic from document sharing websites.

      Better than article marketing because:

      1. All you need is distribution rights. Can you say PLR!
      2. There is no review process for your documents. Just upload and go. You can also batch upload as many as you want at a time.
      3. The entire document is like a resource box.
      4. Can be used to promote affiliate links.
      I have created a system that makes mine into little traffic magnets and I get targeted traffic to squeeze pages, affiliate links, adsense sites, etc.
