Default Survey: What's your biggest hurdle?

Hi everyone,

I've been considering a recent thread I read, the gist of it was, "Just do *this* and you'll make money." Period. Lots of agreement, back slapping, etc.

Anyway, I'm not saying I disagree with the idea, but have been thinking, If it's that damn easy, everyone would be doing it, there'd be no need for all the guru launches, etc.

So my question to you is: What is your biggest hurdle to success and making the type of money online that you need?

I'd love to hear all ideas, but will drop a few here to help along (I've suffered from each of these at one time or another, and continue to):

* technology is a problem; ie, can't build a website
* money; ie, no additional funds to spend on PPC, outsourcing, etc.
* information; ie, just don't know enough yet
* fear of failure
* paralysis by analysis

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Happy Memorial weekend!

Bill

I procrastinate on tasks because I am complacent too often.

I have a hard time getting started, and sometimes staying on task. I also have a hard time doing tons of work (the reason I entered IM was to work smarter, not harder).

Getting setup to accept business with out a dba or business checking account. Yes, I know I need these things and will get them but right now I just need make money and a dba takes time and business checking account can't be opened with out it!

So, that's my stumbling block -- just getting setup. I'm now going to just use my Paypal account which is in my business name and transfer the money over to my personal checking account. I know it's wrong but it's all I can do to get started. Though if someone hands me a check, I'll guess I'm in trouble.

Any suggestions?

Setting up a DBA is not difficult: How to Set Up a DBA | eHow.com

Typically it's a form you file with your county and perhaps a processing fee. In California, the process is a little more detailed...but do it now, and in the meantime, you're absolutely correct about your Paypal strategy. Just wire the funds wherever you need them, and keep good track of everything for taxes.

By "getting started" do you mean, once you've identified a task just getting moving on it. Or "getting started," like, knowing what to do next?

Thanks for contributing!

I mean I know what I need to do, and how to do it, I just don't do it. For whatever reason, such as I feel the task takes too long, or takes too much work, etc. Or I just don't do it. :P

Razer,
What's your solution? Do you outsource those tasks, or do they just not get done until you get around to it?
