I've never had any luck with marketing on Fiverr, the best things I've used Fiverr for was videos and graphics.

I did started experimenting that on fiverr last month and got one potential buyer to my service out of fiverr. Now, he is a recurring buyer and registered member on my service site. Thats just one buyer from fiverr as i dont promote my gigs that much. Its all about how you approach without breaking the TOS.

I've gotten a lot of graphics, HTML/Development work, content writers, and even some SEO on Fiverr that was GREAT - but I have never had a single marketing/promotion gig that was even worth the $5. All of the ad running, paid Facebook posts/tweets, paid links, etc. were all junk.

Fiverr is really good for graphics and other types of services. But promoting own or affliate stuff with buying Facebook or Twitter posting or getting x amount of likes/ folowers/ views or website visitor can really go in the wrong direction, because they are not from targeted audience.

Spend your money on something else on fiverr but not on traffic! Graphic and Review videos for your site come at giveaway prices though!

I use fiverr for graphics as well, tried once to use one of those "Drive 5000 visitors to your site" guys, but all they do is send bot traffic to your site to pump up the numbers, complete waste of time.

It's almost as if you can't buy targeted (real) leads for $5.

I'm surprised people are still on the $5 Fiverr kick. Fiverr is good for weird/wacky gigs like making people juggle chainsaws.

Or if you want some hot college girl to plug your website for 30 seconds, that's another notable example.

Why people continue to buy "Followers/Traffic/Content/Graphics" from there is beyond me. I guess everyone has their different definitions and standards of what they deem worthy to be called "quality".

There's one gig I buy on a recurring basis - a guy will manually submit links to 20 social media sites for $5. He delivers quickly, provides a list of links and...get this...the links actually produce traffic.

As for making money with Fiverr, the ticket seems to be to buy gigs on Fiverr and resell them elsewhere at a higher price.

You get what you pay for..

I bought some "high pr directory submissions" and some rss submissions on fiverr, but now i wish i didnt, got all kinds of shit links showing up when i look in google webmaster tools, so lots of links for 5 bucks, meh..
