email autoresponder series question

Hello All

I have a question regarding email autoresponder series.

Lest say that I have set up my autoresponder with 20 messages preloaded in Aweber so when you sign up for my list you will get a message every 3 days. Now I want to add another message to come 3 days after the last to make it 21.

If a person has gone through the series and that series was completed 2 weeks ago will that person get the email I added to the end of the series and subsequent additional emails added thereafter?

    I use Get Response and the answer is yes if you want. After you add an email to your autoresponder series it asks you if you want to send it to people who did not receive the message which would be all those that completed the series. You can select yes or no. I imagine it's the same or similar for get response but yes reach out to them.

    With Aweber , I believe it automatically goes out to those people on your list, but it's a good idea to ask them directly

    This is actually a really good question.
    I used to wonder this a couple of years ago because
    it's very important. To answer your question: yes.

    If you have an existing list then later add a follow
    up letter to your sequence, then they will get your
    newly added one. I've included a link to an Aweber
    blog post that discusses this. They even talk about
    when exactly they will get your new follow up email.

    I hope that this helps out. I believe that this is the
    standard procedure for major email marketing companies.
    I've used Getresponse (which has done it) and also
    Trafficwave (which also does it).

    When you add another email to your series, Aweber will instantly let you know how many subscribers on your list have already received the first 20 and ask you if you want to send them the 21st email. At that point you have an option to send the email to those subscribers or not.
