After they downloaded your free report, how will your autoresponder email structured?
And when do you start introducing your affiliate product to the list?

Am a bit confuse about this.

    You should start with the 2nd email immediately while also providing valuable reasons why your subscribers should buy what you have to offer.

    I don't think there's one single "right answer" to these questions. It's about testing and developing what works well for you and your business.

    It's going to vary a lot, according to your traffic demographics (and probably even according to the niche, as well).

    It's more of an art than a science. What I do is promote only a handful of things and make my emails story based. Entertaining and informative is the way to go in my opinion and weave in your product pitches.

    Right away ...

    You can still provide value offering products as an affiliate.

    Just craft your message in that way. I find demos of products that you use yourself to help your business work really well.

    If they're able to download your free report in email #1
    then in emails 2-3 you should introduce your products.

    In the 2nd email you may want to re-inforce the free
    report. Maybe remind them to download it, or slightly
    touch on a topic in it. But definately by email #3 you
    should present your affiliate products.
