Do You Use A Delayed Redirect On Your Thank You Page?

Hi I am curious if you guys prefer to direct people to your sales page from a redirect on your thank you page after they opt-in to you list using a squeeze page? If so how long do you set the timer to? Right now I have it at 15 seconds however in the past I never done this an instead just sold them through my auto responder. I want to see if I can get a conversion quicker this way.

    I never do that, at all. It would be very bad news for me.

    Yes, I might make the occasional sale that way, but those are sales I'll make a few days or a week later anyway, so there's no real gain. On the contrary, for me there's a real loss, because the last thing I want to do is to look "just like any other marketer". That's no way at all to establish credibility and trust, and for me those are the point of list-building: that's part of why I need to do it at all - to differentiate myself from all the others with whom my subscribers have contact.

      Just send them more information to read and buy perhaps through your emails. That is very old school what you are talking about. The new way is much kinder and gentler and works pretty well too.

      Send them to a page that has your social media links on it, providing you've got regular everyday person ones and you've not got a super hypey facebook page.
