Hey fellow Warriors, I am thinking of entering a new niche and I have been doing some keyword research using market samurai and googles free keyword tool anyway I have found 1 or 2 promising keywords. I have found 1 keywordthat gets 16k searches a day (phrase) and only 50 a day (exact) now I no this is a massive differance but which 1 should I base it on? |

What are you basing your keyword research on, your content, whether it's a viable niche, or what?

It's a very viable niche and is competative, I have or I think I have found a very profitable keyword which falls in to the sub niche category.

Its the difference between "Holidays" (general) "Maldives holidays" (close) and "Holidays to Meeru" (Absolutely specific) If you are selling the EXACT ITEM people are SPECIFICALLY searching for, then the only thing stopping you selling to ALL 50 is your sales pitch. |

People that are searching for exact match are more apt to click thru, because you are offering exactly what they are looking for...therefore your CTR should be higher with Exact....Phrase will bring you some click happy people along with customers.
