How should I set up a dog content site

I am buying some plr content for dogs and not quite sure how to use the content, looking for ideas. I will be affiliate for a few dog related info products.

1) What are some ideas and ways to set up a affiliate dog content site

2) should i sell other products on site like physical dog related products, crates, leashes, etcc found at some dog store, my focus is for people to buy a ebook from my link, but wondering now if I should offer other products is this a bad or good idea even though I am selling a affiliate ebook.

3) wish to build a list what ways or approaches can i use to build my list at this site any suggestions

1.) You can set up a wordpress blog with the PLR you bought

2.) I wouldn't sell physical dog products, because usually the commissions are pretty low. Stick to digital products unless you think you can sell lots of physical products for whatever reason.

3.) You can add an opt-in box to your wordpress blog easily, just google 'how to add opt-in to wordpress.'

You probably realize this is an extremely competitive topic.

I would try to find a smaller segment, look at all the Poodle
crosses that are so popular; e.g., Labradoodle, or
certain types of behavior problems like barking or digging, etc.

There are a ton of general dog training books but maybe a digital
book on stopping barking would be a winner.

      Good luck.

You should use Wordpress and rewrite your PLR content. If you were to use copycape to test that content, I'm sure it is being used in a dozen other places on the Web so Google will ignore you.

I've got a dog training website for the odd reason that I'm into training dogs... and have found it to be a very competitive niche. Just because you spent some money on plr doesn't really mean you should start a site on dogs. Do some keyword research at the google keyword tool external before you waste a lot of time!

dogs are a v. broad market niche it down to something where there is less competition and still enough searches per day. Use google adwords for keyword research or market samurai (if you have it). Once you have a niche within the niche then rewrite the plr content for that niche. Set up a wp blog on your own domain and upload your content setting it to post in the future so every few days you will have a post published. To build your list find something that your market wants and either put together a short report for an optin or give a bonus that is relevant and suitable for an existing product (ie something in Clickbank for example). There are loads of places with affiliate programs for dogs amazon, ebay, clickbank etc try and find relevant products for each post that you have made.

    All the best

This seems like a tough niche unless you have some actual unique, valuable content.
