I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

Let me suggest that you focus on two things online....

First, look into some service that will yield you cash immediately so that you're not waiting. Look into what your skill sets are. Do you like to write or do graphic design or setup websites? All of those skills and others are in demand and you can get paid rather quickly to provide your much needed services. Look at the freelancer marketplaces as well as for hire forums such as on Warrior Forum or Craigslist or other places.

Outside of that, you should spend a few hours on developing a more long term business. Most models in affiliate marketing take some time to make money so you need a model where you can step by step emulate a good model. There's no need to rush so I would spend some time searching and reviewing the various threads on the main forum to get some ideas. Look into the 5 star posts on here (click the ratings tab in the main forum) and also look into getting a War Room membership here as you will find lots of great models that you can emulate. A War Room membership here is an excellent investment and the first thing that I would invest in.

Sad to hear about your situation however glad you are viewing this situation as a wake up call for yourself - hopefully in more ways than one.

In the online sphere - the opportunities are many and varied and you could get side tracked big time, wasting time, energy and dollars in the process. The advice re joining Warrior Forum is a great one - worth the investment and you'll find heaps of ways you may potentially make money online and develop an online business which is both profitable and sustainable.

The suggestion re review your current skills sets, interests and knowledge and then provide a service around same is also a good way to go. Especially in the interim as there are sites as follows that you could promote your services on:

Airtasker .com - this one you can provide physical services and tasks on.

Anyway these are some of the main sites you can promote your services on and hopefully pick up work relatively quickly.

One of the major things to avoid and every newbie does this and even experienced IM marketers do this - is get taken with the latest fit and fab and then waste time, energy and dollars trying to make this system or that system, this software or that software live up to it's supposed promise.

As you've already found - a lot of people do not produce the goods or at best the goods are quite shoddy.

As to the suggestion start with Affiliate Marketing - well this in many respects can take quite some time - knowing what the right product to promote, how to drive traffic to the website etc. etc. - and the list can go on.

My suggestions for what they're worth - start small, spend a certain amount of time each day on your online business and gradually build up - start out as an outsourcer and if you're good people will return and buy more and also let others know. Ensure you over deliver and under promise - this way people are let with feeling you provide heaps of value for money, even if they're only paying $5 USD for your service.

Research the freelance websites and ensure you stick to their terms and conditions and provide good value and hopefully soon you'll be on your way.

Another activity - maybe for a longer term project is as you're a Kindergarten teacher - you must have heaps of stories and practical advice to give parents re their toddlers learning etc. etc. Why not put some thought into writing a small EBook that you could potentially sell on Amazon/Kindle - and generate passive income via the sale of your book. Be warned with Amazon - you cannot list your EBook on their website and on your own website at the same time - they expect exclusive publishing rights for a specific period of time. Rest assured you own the copyright.

You never know you could become the Queen of Kindergarten Kids and provide heaps of useful tips and strategies for parents who major concerns are with their children and how best to prepare them both for education and for life.

Go for it. Remember to remain focused - implement 1 strategy at a time and ensure you master the strategy prior to moving to the next strategy.

An eCommerce site would be a "real" sustainable business, but I don't recommend starting one in your situation. To be successful with eCommerce - and I mean REALLY successful, like $5k - $25k per week - you need to be prepared to reinvest 100% of what you make for the first year, and not pocket a single penny. That means you need to have another income stream while you're getting started.

Don't start a business if you're needing cash, it's the #1 reason most businesses fail.

The fastest way to make money online is by being a service provider because you're able to get paid via Paypal. The most common way to do this is by being a ghostwriter -- doing some research and writing content for other marketers. It's even possible to get paid upfront -- in whole or part -- before you do any work.

I recommend that you check out Ghostwriting Cash by Tiffany Lambert (formally Dow, going through a divorce, sales page still has Dow on it). The product is inexpensive (less than 30 bucks), and there are no up-sells. I do, however, recommend that you check out her site IM Writing Tips as well (also cheap). Your grammar worries me.

I don't have a link ready for you at the moment but I KNOW there are one or more websites where you can upload and sell lesson plans to other teachers! Search for them on Google.

I think your best solution would be finding another offline job and just add that to your current income of $800. There are no quick rich products or programs.

Hello Denise, i suggest you sign up with some of the top internet gurus
like russell brunson etc (you can google them) and sign up with there programs.
These guys are tried and proven and have thousand of students who have also been successful.
Be wary of some of the get rich quick money products sold on online, much of
them are just crap.

Don't believe any IM method that you pay for. While a small percentage of them are real, most are not. However, this is not too big a deal, because you are very likely to learn a few things from each one (even if it is what NOT to do!), and at some point, you'll know enough to succeed in IM.

Many of the IM methods given away for free (such as in the war room) are designed for people who pay for them, so don't believe them either. What you can put more belief in, is if someone on this forum mentions a method, as part of a forum post, which they are not selling anything related to (in their signature etc.), because they don't have much to gain from what they are writing, other than genuinely helping others.

There's a lot less methods posted here than there was a few years ago, but a lot of the methods posted years ago, still work, so have a look.

The most reliable IM method I know is writing very honest, informative product-reports based on what real buyers have said about that product, giving reasons why other alternative products might be better for particular uses, and giving comparisons etc. basically going buyer's research for them and saving them time. Do these product-reports about Amazon products over $100 or more, and you will make money. It's not the quickest income, nor the highest for your time, but it's the most reliable method of making a reasonable income, that I know of, in IM.

Of course, you should keep learning and improving, when using Amazon affiliate or whatever you are doing (there are a lot of other great affiliate programs out there, plus free guides on how to do affiliate marketing entirely free), you need to keep learning and improving.

You can make money on the internet if you have a website that people visit and spend their money. The key is "visitors" who are interested in the products you are selling. Products can be tangible, but the easiest to sell are intangible products such as downloaded information products unique to your website.

Just remember that the key is "visitors" to your website or in marketing terms "traffic" or better yet "targeted traffic."

Targeted Traffic is all good, but it is difficult to get when everyone is also trying to get it from the same sources. It is also difficult to sell anything online when you are new and when everyone is also trying to sell the same affiliate products. Other marketer's websites that have been online longer than your new website have too many advantages over your new website. The only real advantage you would have over your competition is to sell your own product or service unique to your website.

Try it both ways!

1) Create an affiliate website on its own domain. Example: YourOwnAffiliateDomain.com.
Use the very same website theme on both sites to ease the learning curve and also to get both sites online fast and easy.

2) Create your own website selling your own product or service. Example: YourOwnProductDomain.com

Next, drive traffic to your websites from common sources, but more from uncommon sources that relate to your websites. Tip.. A flippa dot com classified ad is cheap. Also, look into viral traffic which is just a term we IMers use sometimes called passive traffic. Free information products with your affiliate IDs that lead to your websites, products, or service work well.

I am assuming you're a decent writer since you have a college degree. So blogging on current news will be the fastest way for you to start earning money with no risk (except about $100 for a domain plus a year of hosting, which you need to run a business, anyway). That is because trending items get their traffic now instead of evergreen topics, which usually get a small trickle of traffic over many years.

But even still, that doesn't mean you can start making money tomorrow. You'll need to set up your domain and hosting and WordPress. There's a million free tutorials on how to do this, so I won't go into it. But I'll just say keep it simple. I don't care what someone else says. I use the standard Twenty Ten theme and earn a full-time income. I know how not to waste money on stupid stuff.

Then, you'll have to start blogging on a daily basis for a few months probably. After a few hundred articles and daily blogging, then apply to Google AdSense so you can start making money off of these articles.

Note: DON'T moan about it taking a few months. Making money immediately is a pipe dream. You need to get that out of your head first.

CNN is a good source of videos that you can use for news blogging topics. Look for CNN's RSS listings and find their video RSS pages. Just avoid politics, which is not very good for SEO traffic.

Lastly, there's a LOT of ways to make money right away, but they all involve either luck, financial risk, or both. Stop dreaming of making money immediately, survive on what you have for now no matter how hard it is, and follow my plan and profit in a few months.

One more thing is DON'T listen to people who say it is easy to make money. You still have to put in the work. But the good part is you have freedom if you are sick or whatever to take a break and then come back to your work later.
