Same product from different publishers?

A while back when I was looking to make some money online, I purchased a list of companies that offered paid surveys. Which BTW it didnt work... I told a friend about it and he was excited so I told him where to buy it from. Which it was from clickbank and gave him the name of the product. To make a long story short. My friend didnt buy the same exact product that I did, but it was also a list of surveys. We compared both product and both had the same exact list of companies! Different publisher and different sell pages. I dont know who published the product first, but one of them had to copy from the other. How come clickbank allows this?

    Does it really matter?

all that matters is that both of you get paid...isn't it???

Many companies publish several faces while promoting similar products but the behind the scenes is the same owner.

No worries there as long as on your end you get what you want.

Are you certain that it's two different publishers?

You'd be surprised how much money there is in competing against... yourself.

Next, the products could have very well both come from the same PLR source originally.

There's a multitude of reasons why you both bought the same thing through different sales funnels and many of them are not nefarious.

    Anyway, just a heads up.

      same exact list of companies
The companies that do surveys are online and anyone can get a list using google search.

It might have been a list compiled by one person and resold - but maybe not. If you and I each compiled a list of the top dog sites in a google search - the list would be the same.
