Question about homepage & internal links
I have a question about homepage and internal links. See, I have a blog that has a tutorial on the homepage (vast majority of the traffic goes to homepage). The tutorial is somewhat important, since if the visitor completes it, i'll get paid.
However, I also have internal links from homepage to sub-pages, that all support the homepage.
For example, let's say my homepage is "how to start a business". I cover simple steps that are needed to be done in order to get your business up and running. I also have internal links to supportive articles within the text, like "5 reasons you should start a business", "why is small business a good idea" etc...
Now my question is, should I let them open on "new tab" or just direct them from homepage (which is important) to less important page which is more or less "supportive"?
I'll obviously let external links to be opened in a new tab. How about internal ones? Which option is more "visitor friendly" in your opinion?
Thanks
