Blog comments leading customers away - What would you do?

Hi,

I have a health website which includes a lot of information and advice and 2 clickbank products which I have purchased and screened and am entirely happy with.

However, every so often I get customers and visitors thanking me for the information on the site and wanting to leave a comment on how a different product has helped them.

I always accept the comment as my main focus is on helping visitors to my site out as much as poss and if someone has had a good experience with some other product I feel morally obliged to let others know as well with this important information.

I'm now thinking these comments will likely reduce sales for my clickbank products and maybe I should promote these products that the visitors have had good experiences with.

What would you do?

Cheers

If you feel you can trust the testimonies of the comments, then go ahead and promote all new products your readers tell you about. But it sounds like you took the extra time to purchase and screen your original products....are you going to trust someone else's opinion?

    Hi Diane,

You read my mind. That is exactly what I'm hesitant about. And also why I'm torn between sometimes even leaving comments like those in, especially when it's something I have never heard of or incase it's a faddy thing but then again it could be a groundbreaking remedy aaagh lol.

    cheers
