PayPal issue, unable to withdraw more than $500 :|

Hello,

I've mostly tried to avoid PayPal since it's being extremely strict for everyone outside US,UK,CA.

So far, I haven't withdrawn much, but this time I have to withdraw approx. $15k.

Note: My account is "personal", fully verified (provided ID, utility bills etc) and is connected with a legit VISA credit card.

However, I'm unable to lift my withdrawal limit which is currently $500 per month.

Any solutions for that? I'll call them soon, but I think it's just about their policies and I'm unable to do much. Is there other possibilities to get this money to my credit card? Instead of letting it sit on my PayPal for years, lol....

Thanks

Update: I have an idea, I'll probably order 10 iPhones from ebay and sell them to my friends with a little profit. But then again, a lot of hussle.

Why did you allow for the money to grow in your paypal account at first point?
You should have been withdrawing it time by time.
The best solution is to call paypal [as you said you would] and let them give you the easiest way to withdraw it.

I'll do that. This $15k is actually commissions for my vendor. At first, we made a "deal" that he will pay straight to my bank account. However, he refused to do that and I had no other chance.

If you are using a personal account to do business - that could be a problem. I'd do some research on the paypal site (specific to YOUR location) before I called Paypal.

and/or upgrade your "personal" account - to a "business" account NOW.

You should have done this in the first place.

Many of the problems people have reported w/ Paypal in the past can be traced directly back to their reluctance to follow simple rules. A "personal" account is for personal use - not for business usage.

Maybe you can upgrade to premium account? I did that a while back and although I have never had 15k in my account, I now withdraw much more than $500 per month and I'm not from UK, US or Canada

I would go to Ebay and buy gold coins. Then I would sell them for cash money. Remember that Ebay uses pay pal and the two are like tentacles of one major company. Converting gold into cash is easy. Expect to lose approx 5% of your $15,000 in the transaction, but that is better than having your funds locked up. Hope they do not close this hole any time soon.

Do you have a PayPal debit card and where are you currently located?

The most trustworthy solution is to call PayPal and explain your situation. It is the most reliable source of information.
    Good luck!

Do not let your money accumulates in your Paypal account, you need to regularly withdraw your money to your bank account.

Maybe you need to upgrade your PP account to the "business" level.

I went through this not long ago, and I also came up with this idea to keep withdrawing my money and depositing it into my local bank account,

Ugh, don't even get me started on my issues I had with PayPal... one account was closed for 2 years >.>

I'd suggest simply upgrading it to a Business or Premium Account (Premium is easier to set up from what I remember). If that doesn't help, call them - they actually have some fairly decent support. Just grab some coffee and a snack, cause the wait times ain't short.

    Good luck!

Change your account to Business but also ring them. If you want your money, be honest with them and they'll usually be fair about it. After all, it is your money.
But NEVER let it accumulate like that. It's crazy to do so.
