How do I reactivate a Get Response Acct?

My GR acct was banned today apparently due to improper of suspect leads coming into my brand new list acct I was going to use for Solos etc.

The Service/WSO on the WF appears to be sending many subs to many people on the AR's but research shows the vendor is using a Co Reg script or something to feed many people the same sub. I think GR noted that and shut down my acct.

Is there any way to get another acct with GR? Thanks!

Using a fake name and IP runs into problems when the Visa name doesn't match up etc.

I'm not a GR customer but I have a suggestion for you.

If your breaches of GR's terms of service were accidental (i.e. you didn't realise what you were doing, and made the mistake of relying on the strength of a representation from someone which turned out to be inaccurate), I think it might be better to discuss this with GetResponse, openly assuming and admitting responsibility for whatever happened regarding your GR account, explaining that you've learned something valuable and that you respect completely that email marketing is a permission-based activity, assuring them that nothing similar will ever happen again, and ask them if they'd be willing, in all those circumstances, to reconsider your account status.

I think that might be a much more positive and constructive way forward than trying to deceive them by opening another account there without their knowing it's really yours, don't you? Which of those two approaches do you think they'd prefer, and why?

As a footnote, if you've really bought a WSO which has directly resulted in you losing your GetResponse account, it might be worth letting the moderators know, if you think it could help to protect other forum members. It might even be worth leaving suitably-worded, objective, factual "review comments" in the WSO thread concerned. Unfortunately there are some WSO's on sale which breach various third-party terms of service (I occasionally report one, myself), but the moderators can't be expected to be familiar with the details of everyone's terms of service, and if nobody tells them, they're not going to have the opportunity to do anything about it. Just a thought. Good luck!

    Hi MADD,

First step is to reply to the email from Compliance and ask them what you can do to fix this.

I responded to their mail yesterday and will hopefully have some resolution soon.

The subs that went into GR were apparently done through CoReg or something like that with thousands on subs being identical of several people's new accts.

It is our acct but the vendor we hired to procure subs or leads did so in a fashion different than what we were told. I do not want junky CoReg leads nor do I want to use unethical practices.

I would be satisfied if they removed ALL of the 3000 subs on my acct and I start a fresh with better mentor-ship and the expected proven processes.

      Thanks.
