Adventuress in Internet Marketing: Quality Tips and Help!

So I thought Id post a tip for anyone looking for advice that is starting off. I would start of by saying it looks like I recently 'made it' to a point where I can be living comfortably of internet market (my idea is great, it's start to work, now I just need to tweak!).

So as I am no longer stuck away trying to find my money source I can now interact with everyone and join the community, something I should of done when I started, but more about that soon!

So I thought Id start off by joining and writing some quality information for newbies just like I used to be Id consider myself at intermediate level now, still learning, but earning

Here it goes!

1: You need the time and motivation. You may have to change you lifestyle for a little while...

You need a lot of time, unfortunately when I first started a year ago. I was in my second year travelling New Zealand. (I live in Australia now) So it was hectic. Parties, working to survive to pay for parties, going on massive trips all over the country. No time and working to live meant I could never get what I needed done. Partying all the time didn't help. So I moved to Australia, where I was able to calm down and focus, get out of my job and leave behind those party animals. Here I had time and found what I needed to do to make a steady income to start off my marketing and it only took in 2 weeks! If you cant get out of your job may I suggest a holiday? Or allocate an hour or two every night.

Getting motivation is hard, as you may think its another road to no where, but this industry is full of them as you will discover! If its not working try something new! Just keep going. Don't think oh could I do this, if it dont look like its going to work ditch it, just keep going on. You will get rewarded with hard work! Then that work will start to become easier as you learn to understand and implement the system to its full potential.

2: Save everything!

Keep a log of everything, comments you could be posting articles you could be writing. Trust me it pays to do it, you may need to refer or end up needing content to spin which you'll have a heap of if you save it all. Making notes of emails you use, affiliate links, etc; common sense really! It makes life so much easier. Organization is key!!

3. Interact with your fellow marketers!

Something I never done, I have been signed up to this forum for a long time now, but never posted - never interacted. I just kept my head down learning. At the same time this is good, but then again - You should make friends, they can teach; give free advice etc. It's good to relate with people. Think of where I could be now if I started making friends a year ago? You could even end up with a business partner! Join quality forums like this and Digital Point etc. Don't be afraid to splash out a little money if you need to to join as you know the information should be top quality! Less spammy than public forums, stay away from black hat forums... In fact stay away from black hat all together lol.

4. Don't be afraid to spend money!

Looking for the perfect course is hard. Some promise so much but deliver so little. A lot are just rehashed courses designed to grab emails and make money etc etc. Spammy stuff your wasting money on. My advice would be to research hard into what you want to do and again when you buy a course or software, stick to sites like warrior and digital point. It pays to know you are receiving good quality information! You get some good deals on WSO! I learned what I needed to start making my money from there! I didn't spend a lot of money doing it. If you need to save maybe change your life style. Buy different foods, stop eating certain food to save money, maybe stop drinking for a little while, change you life save for two weeks only. See the money you will have saved! (the money that could be wasted on booze, good quality alcohol is expensive in New Zealand and Australia, I cant do the cheap stuff it!!) Put it back into marketing! Once you found the perfect course you think is going to work and looks promising, start learning and get on to your tests.
Stay away from thousand dollars a day nonsense, start small to aim high, my goal was to make $50 a day!! You can live off that if you know how, once I reach there I could live and save time to then change my goal to $100 a day then $200 a day, etc etc..

5. Test and look at different ideas

Always test and always look at something else. If you have lots of time you can spend, take a on couple of different tasks to test to see if hey are going to make you money. Usually your course makers will show you this. Have a couple of on going ones. Maybe two different types of course for 2 different types or marketing!

Some extra advice I can give that you should look into if you are start out that I have currently been testing myself...

When I first started I had the idea of organic growing something, leaving something to grow in views etc by itself for example a video clip with affiliate link. When I start learning to Market - I discover a video of a film clip I had posted ages ago on youtube (when I knew nothing of making money online), it had shot to over 3000 views with generic comments and likes by real people, favourites subscriptions etc, with out me doing anything - this happened in a decent amount of time as well maybe 6 months or something, but with a little help could amount to more. Now imagine if there was a link to that video in the descriptions. To adf.ly or something similar, perhaps an affiliate link.

Now what I done to test my theory is that I uploaded a video, with a you can download this clip here thing, in the description that goes through adf.ly.

Now I have used a few social services that provide 'watches and 'likes' ( you basically order or inherit coins by watching another persons video, liking facebook pages etc) it seems like they are real people as they are wanting to promote something themselves, 'coins' are cheap to buy. Likes and watches have slowely started which is good, got a few click throughs as well. Just started to testing has low results atm.

Loaded it with some pre bought coins, offer a good price to 'watch' or 'like' my video so it hits pages one on that system.

Now leave it.

Go and do something else, maybe do a few back links for the video (minimal promotion). Imagine if I set a video like that a year a go when I start and left it to organically grow by itself? Id come back to something awesome Id hope!

I am currently starting to test this little idea as it could be something that over the course of due time with a little help then it could be come possible and work.

What if it fails? Then it fail no biggy I'll move on to something else. This is the testing and point I am trying to make here and also trying to give something for you to try yourself if you are just starting off, so you can leave it and who knows, in a few months you could have a few thousand clicks! Some money to help start something else perhaps?

I will write up a report after a month or two to see how it has blossomed and if the idea seems to be working! Maybe some tweaking is in order. I would love to hear some feed back!!

A little thing for people to think about in their free time!!

I love that I can have this as a job now and I hope my advice and help is going to be useful and give something back to the people that helped me get to the stage I am at myself!

I am also thinking of writing a little course that will be a step by step blueprint of how I make my money online, but this may take a little time. Going to work a little on a farm, second year visa extension requirement unfortunately so I may be a bit busy, but Id love to start making some friends!
