There is no ONE way to build a business online

There is no one way to succeed, only the way you choose to. Check out this video of Gary Vaynerchuk and how he explains why you don't have to follow one system, one guru, one marketing method...

Must see for everyone who wants to be success!

While I agree with him that no shoe fits all I disagree with the conclusion that you should listen to none but yourself and your intuition. There are valuable lessons to be learned by people who've been there and done the thing. Why take the longest path?

I've observe those who read a lot and those few lucky ones who get to have a close friend or mentor to teach them achieve blazing fast success in online marketing...

Let's face it, everyone who succeeded in life had help in one form or another. It's definitely right to follow your intuition and listen to yourself but isn't it faster to TRAVEL ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS...

Why do we use tools to do things? Why do we prefer to travel on cars rather than walk?

This principle applies in any areas of life including internet marketing...

For me, those people who say don't follow other people are just closet gurus...

    I suggest don't follow them...hehehe

I see your point, but Gary V is no closet guru..

I think these words apply here:

Keep what works and reject what doesn't. For YOU.

One things work for me, others for you. None of us both is wrong or right. I think that's what Gary V is trying to communicate

I love to read stuff from gurus like Kern or Pagan or Gary V, but this doesn't mean I'm gonna apply everything they suggest, I will choose what I like and see if it works, if it don't I might try some other stuff guru mentioned but I didn't like and see if that works...
