I am currently using freeautobot as an autoresponder
So far I have only about 100 subscribers into my list,

So on tuesday I plan to setup an Aweber account;
Can I import those 100 leads into my aweber list(s) without them having to optin again? I know 100 isnt anything to write home about, but to me 100 leads is 100 leads.

Once freeautobot had been shut down for about 3 days straight last week I knew I had to get my head straight and do this professionally.

Best Regards

This is from the aweber site.

All imported subscribers must confirm that they want to receive your emails by clicking a link in a message that is sent to them when you import them.

Before importing, you'll first need to customize that message. This helps to make the message recognizable to your subscribers. You have to let them know how they signed up for your list.

    Does Aweber have single optin?

Then I could tediously just input my subscribers Fname and email into an optin form and then switch the list to a double optin afterwards.

      Hi Ross,

Glad to hear you're planning to join AWeber!

It's always good to get answers from the horse's mouth, so let's see
if I can help clear a few things up for you.

That depends on how you were collecting them before.

      If:

      1. you were collecting subscribers through another web-based email
marketing service (i.e. not a software installed on your server/computer); and

      2. subscribers had to confirm their signup in order to join your list; and

      3. we can confirm this by testing your signup process and by
checking your account and finding incontrovertible evidence that this was
the case (i.e. clear confirmation records for your subscribers)

then we can help you to migrate those subscribers to AWeber without
sending a confirmation, as they've already been confirmed. Just
get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help!

If you weren't confirming subscribers before, or if we can't clearly see the
confirmation records, then you'll need to confirm them when you migrate
      to AWeber.

      Not something I recommend.

We put a lot of human and technological resources - most of which
are more thorough than just doing a WF search - into making sure
people don't skirt the rules. (I'm sure the WF community can tell you
that we take our rules, and infractions of them, seriously.)

And even if you did somehow manage to avoid us finding out about it
(highly unlikely) you'd be skirting rules that exist for the sake of the
email deliverability of all AWeber customers' campaigns - including yours.

No sense in shooting yourself in the foot for some percentage of
      100 subscribers.

I'd be happy to help you with any other questions you may have about
AWeber and/or migrating - you can PM me, email me
justinpremick(AT)aweber(DOT)com or reach me on Twitter @justinpremick.

I think you can only do 10 at a time, per day.
If you try to bulk upload, AW will fire out a confirm message.
